June 15th, 2017 12:59 PM #521nope. the problem in Mindanao is generation gap.
let's take for example, the young Misuari, all idealistic, all role-model, fierce and ready to die for all. so along the way nag-sasucceed surgically eliminating his enemies both from his own Muslim world as well as the outsiders the Christians and Filipino politicians and elite.
kaya lang habang nag-succeed sya, na-in-vite sya sa mga parties. eh syempre, to honor a great warrior along with his equally fierce men. so dun sila ma-offeran ng land, fame, women etc. everything that a victor is entitled for. so when the young Misuari becomes 30-40 something, bigla nag-iba na ideals nya, aside from conquering, he needs to keep the things the he gained as well the pride and self=-esteem. and then fast forward again to the old Misuari, na-realize nya yun young version noon hindi pwede, coz ang daming life nakasasalalay sa kanya, the life of his men, the family of his men, the entire community that he protects so nagiging hindi na sya marahas ang naging diplomatic na sya.
eh pano na, yun mga batang Muslim fighters took inspiration of him from his exploits and teachings tapos sa huli biglang naging mahinahon sya.
so dyan nagkakaproblema ang Mindanao, kayo mostly members ng Maute group, young and idealistic to their own cause. and maybe they are disillusioned sa former older heroes nila kaya binanatan na din nila their own.
this is the cycle. how would you stop this cycle. eh ikaw nga eh nun 20 something ka, laban all the way ka, payat ka, inom dito inom dun, gimmick tapos bigla ka nagkasakit nun 30 something, tapos mild stroke tapos on maintenance ka na tapos pag 50 ka na sasabihan mo mga bata or yuppies mga wala kasi iniisip sa buhay na problema.
ganyan ang lang problema ng mundo. we live in an imperfect world which we try to make perfect pero it's not. and ito ang lahat ng consequences ng nangyari whether it's individual thinking or collective thinking.

a little empathy and a little imagination
if you were born into a religion that controls every aspect of your life
from your behavior to what you eat to what you wear
and you have no choice (coz your religion says you will be killed if you leave your religion)
and you live in a world where many other people do not belong to your religion and they live liberally
they behave as they wish and eat what they want and wear what they want
what does that do to you?
you either envy them or hate them
wouldn't you would wish everyone obeyed the same rules?
you either wanna convert all non-believers
or kill em all

agree on this.
the mere fact there are already Muslim armed groups taking control of parcels of land in the ARMM provinces makes it convenient to gain a foothold.
you have to learn their culture to understand their way of life. they are actually fighting among themselves for influence, money, etc. clans vs clans. tausugs vs maguindanaoans vs maranaos (eg. MNLF vs MILF vs BIFF). but in the face of a common enemy they can bond together (eg. SAF mamasapano).
after EDSA 1986, things would have been different because there is an opportunity to reboot. but the Cory and Ramos and eventually subsequent presidents channel government money through selected families who in turn became warlords, drug personalities, crime syndicates. so things are like feudal kingdoms disguised as local government units. result is an unequal distribution of wealth. poorest Filipinos are in the ARMM region.
environments like these are like incubators for 'resistant movements'.

ISIS wanted to create a caliphate in southeast asia. They chose marawi for a reason and the national government didnt tolerate it thats why we have a conflict in marawi.
Why marawi? Because its easier to slip in weapons to help them with their islamic cause considering muslims are sympathetic of each other. Theres a good chance of success if their plan to control mindanao is executed in that city
In addition, Marawi is strategic city, considering its location. Nestled in the shore of lake lanao and has direct access to agus river. Agus river is the water way that feeds water to operate the electric turbines of maria cristina hydro power plants in iligan. Control marawi and isis can block the flow of water to the hydro power plants that supply electricity to majority of mindanao
Hence, the national government cant allow marawi to fall in the hands of these radicals

June 15th, 2017 06:49 PM #526the last caliphate was taken to Washington DC after world War 2. In his memoirs, he said he was invited by a group of Washington politicians to celebrate the success of World War 2 against the axis powers. in this sense, instrumental ang Muslim world to banish the evil that is Nazi empire.
we should remember that the Muslims especially in Africa and Middle East sympathized with Hitler's group first coz the Nazis seemed to be aligned with what the Muslims wanted that we are all born for war. However, the Muslims later realized what Hitler is up to and that is ethnic cleansing to pave way for the Aryan race. Like what Hitler did with Stalin, kinebigan muna nya tapos yun pala i-wipe out nya ang Russians, the Muslims knew that they too will be subjected to the ethnic cleaning of Nazi Germany after they succeed in defeating the allies and America.
now back to the caliphate who was invited to Washington DC. He entered into a room wherein all where performing orgies, leaders of state, washington politicians , celebrities and most popular personalities in that period. dun lumabas ang morality ng Muslims coz what where they doing those politicians. ano ba ang nangyari sa mundo, where we all tricked into believing that the hero that is America is actually the villian controlled by the Jews kasi sino ba talaga na-o-orgy at sino ba ang pina-nush sa Sodom and Gomorrah, it's God chosen people, the Jews.
so magmula noon, the Musims never trusted the western world coz they somehow suspected that it is run by the Jews.
----
before we start to judge our Muslim brothers, baka kasi nakalimutan nyo it was the Muslims who discovered coffee (aka Arabica the best coffee beans) and because of their coffee, nagtayo ng coffee shops sila leningrad, karl marx, at kung sino sino pa sikat na writers prior to the World wars. The muslims were having coffee pero never did they go to war. pero tayo nag-kape lang, nagyera na kasi etong mga puti, dahil sa coffee tumalino at nag intelligent debate tapos biglang nag mass production ng weapons of mass destruction in the industrial age .
---
and Ive been to Venice as well as istanbul, eto ang melting pot ng two religions, where both Christianity and Islam met, kaya sobrang gaganda ng architecture and art dito coz fusion eto ng dalawang powerful religions. so many of what we enjoy now like paper, writing and even some art came from the Muslims.
for us to judge them coz they act like that eh tignan mo natin ang history natin. we are not that perfect too nor we invent everything we enjoy right now even cheese it was the Muslims who invented it, kasi nga nagbaon yun isang Muslim rider ng milk tapos tumawid ng desert akala nya maiinom pa niya baon nya milk, napanis tapos masarap na cheese ang nangyari.
eh lahat tayo ngaun we owe it to cheese sa sarap ng pagkain natin

June 15th, 2017 07:02 PM #527The Knights Templar established Syria. it's suppose to be a jump off point from Crusader from Europe and Scandinavia to battle the jihadists in Jerusalem.
if we really go back and to really answer your question why war will never end in Mindanao, it's because we the Crusaders and they the Jihadists have different interpretations of what is really the message in Jerusalem which is rumored to contain the life energy of earth. andun yun sa Jerusalem sa ilalim.. the Muslims say mali ang interpret natin and we are bound to destroy our Earth, ganun din tayo sa kanila, sinasabi natin mali din interpret nila
so this war, is just the capture the flag talaga. whether we like it or not.
pero if one will really dig deeper, it's God naman talaga eh. say ilan year na-capture ang Jerusalem ng Christians mga 500 years, then i-shift naman ni God ang pag-aari ng Jerusalem sa Muslims, once those gatekeepers become corrupted.
ngaun siguro, kaya palakas ng palakas ng cry ng kabila is because baka tayo na nga ang corrupted pero once in our life we were heroes and protectors of the world atter World war 2.
once you become corrupted kasi and then naging hypocrite ka only to protect yun tinatamasa mo sarap ng katawan, God will remove all the powers and beneifts that he has given you. baka yan nangyayari. makinig ka lang ke Anderson Cooper and the rest of those CNN people on how they twist the news, madami talaga magagalit sa America.
tapos pati Rome di pinatawad, kung tuusin the Holy Roman Empire and The Muslim are aligned eh kaya lang we are now run with twisted beiefs so there is that suspicion na baka ma Jews and Homo***uals na naman nagpapatakbo sa mundo, kaya nagagalit ang Muslims as was in World war 2 when Hitler started executing the Jews aka homo***uals. ngaun there is a strong resurgence ng Anti-Semitism in Europe na naman. bakit?

To sneak in weapons right under the nose of the authorities in marawi are some of the operational success of the maute group
To launch it at the time when the top leaders are out of reach from the lower echelon of the government while on a flight to russia is another operational success of the maute
On the other hand, to clog agus river in order to shut down the operation of the hydro-electric plants in iligan city is their biggest failure thanks to the SACRIFICE of our BRAVE soldiers
