There might be truth in the rumor...

PAL might be going into bankruptcy later this year.

If am not mistaken, Lucio Tan is trying to sell PAL already. They have been bankrupt for a long time now.

Even with ground personnel, they are getting people from agencies so that the staff will only be contractual.

Actually the move to make non-core employees as contractual and outsourcing some of it is just normal. Lots of other airlines are already doing that it was only PAL who had even their customer service (call center) in-house...

sa FA.. sa PAL generally ang tatanda.. I've been in a lot of international flights and pinaka matatanda talaga FAs in general from PAL..

Lucio tried to retire them but I think DOLE sided with the oldies. Pero if you are going to apply now, 40 years old ang mandatory retirement sa contract.

I don't think so AFAIK "kapitan" is adamant on retaining PAL even if it means he will lose more money.

Ramon Ang has an standing offer to buy PAL. but "kapitan" will not budge.

And he wonders why they have no loyalty.

I remember that issue. Funny now, that PAL would be desperate to have those pilots stay.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
