That's not interesting, it's predictable. During the 1992 election, Salonga won with more than 40% in UP. In 1998, Roco also won in UP in the mock elections. Problem is it's not reflective of the votes for the rest of the Philippines.

    let's pray for dick

if only people who are allowed to vote are the taxpayers then gordon will definitely have a chance. unfortunately, more than half of our country's people are not, and are satisfied to vote for whoever they see or hear the most in media ads.. some vote for this person because they just don't want the other one to win. they won't vote for the one they really want, because they think that their candidate doesn't have the chance to win..

What? Pray for Dick? That pompous arrogant know it all candidate. No way.

In the latest display of his character nag wala yan kahit sa media dahil treated badly daw siya. Sore loser.

Imagine hindi pa presidente ganyan na asal. Kahit leader/manager hindi siya bagay. A good manager/leader should know how to control and behave himself. And I am a taxpayer. I will not vote for someone seeking personal glory like DICK. Transformer nga, DECEPTICON nga lang.

    NEVER FOR DICK.

This UP mock election has always been a joke. He who wins there loses.

sayang bec he is leading pa naman sa online surveys...ito sabi niya about surveys.

“...Surveys are not needed in a democratic society. If you pay for a survey, you can use that as a weapon of propaganda,” he said. “The surveys are just fooling us. If you want surveys, let’s not have an election anymore, let’s just conduct more surveys.”

    amen to that bro.

pansin ko lang, kung ang survey eh involved ang mas properly informed, yung intelligent choice ang nananalo. pero kung yung less o not properly informed naman, yung popular ang nananalo. thus, surveys are really not a good basis for decision making sa mga elections - lalo na kung ginagamit para lalong lumakas yung popular vote.

the pitfall of democracy -> popular beats the intelligent choice (or any other choice there is regardless if its the right one or not).

sana lang, this coming polls, pinoys would start loving their country and go for their informed choice. otherwise, i would personally prefer they skip this altogether.

our country deserves to move forward. LETS GIVE PHILIPPINES A CHANCE!
