^ actually ang naalala kong movie ngayon , in light of the alleged presidential stand-in , ay iyong "dave" starred by kevil kline and sigourney weaver.

basta ang premise nito ay isang ordinary citizen look alike ng american president ay ni-recruit kasi nagka-stroke iyong totoong presidente and incapacitated na. tapos galit din iyong mga tauhan ng sitting president sa vice president kasi squeaky clean siya.

it's actually a nice movie. for those who haven't seen it, i'd recommend it.

pero iyong "wag the dog" movie baka gayahin din uli to avert a political crisis in the making. i think the powers-at-be tried doing that w/ the marawi crisis but it back fired epically.

to be honest , i'm not familiar w/ it. pero kung kurosawa flick iyan, panigurado abot ng 4 hours iyan! hindi kaya ng wetpu ko iyan, doc.

i remember i tried watching "ran" before, but it's way too sophisticated for me.
