Kumusta naman ang FB feed nyo? Tumahimik ba kahit konti?

In the meantime, on a marketing perspective, you'll have to admire Duterte's team:

Nag aaksaya lang ng oras at panahon tong si duterte. Kahit manalo ka sa eleksyon impeach naman aabutin mo.. Siguraduhin nalang natin na manalo ng VP si Leni para if or sakaling matalo si roxas, si maam leni ang papalit bilang pangulo [emoji23][emoji51]

    1. Let's have a review of some relatively recent events.
    a. Corona trial. A little lady sent a congressman transaction details of Corona bank accounts. Source remained nameless. Details were sent to Ombudsman. Ombudsman requested AMLC for information. Leaked information was verified to be accurate.
    b. Binay. Trillanes gave a list of Binay's bank accounts. His source remained anonymous. It's now with Ombudsman. If Binay lose, he will be in jail. Leaked information, again, was verified to be accurate.
    c. Duterte. Trillanes gave a list of transactions. His source will remain anonymous. It will be forwarded to Ombudsman, etc.. They just denied the existence of the accounts and if caught, they will come out with excuses, as what Binay and Corona did.

These are just the accounts under Duterte's name.

See the pattern? It's how it's done. It will be that way now. Obviously, the source has to be protected as he/she may be indicted.

    2. On the matter of timing. It is election related, no need to speculate. I don't see that as a problem. Aren't you glad people still have a chance to decide whether they still want to vote for Duterte? You cannot blame Trillanes on this, it looks like he was just given the information recently, you need to find somebody else to blame.

All Duterte has to do is sign a valid waiver, how hard is that?

Edit: Apparently, the account exists. A complete reversal of Duterte's spokesperson's statement yesterday. What's next? Honest mistake? We'll just amend the SALN?
What do you expect me to do believe right away, para lng yan ung check ky trillanes, i'm sure d k rin naniwala kagad. All i want is a clear proof. Now that digong acknowledge it, lets wait and see if he amount is accurate. Kudos to Mar for waiving his accounts, i hope everyone follows especially digong.

Just to add. Even if there is a pattern on what trillanes does it still not a good idea not to validate all his findings.

wait and see pa rin? The existence of the accounts which were previously denied and then later on acknowledged is not enough to prove that your Du30 is DuDirty? whoa!!!

Ok no more excuses, ganito n lng, digong is not known as a corrupt official and same thing with Mar or GP and thats how i look at them but i maybe wrong. So i'm still give them benefit of the doubt.

I heard s news knina na he wants trillanes to file a formal complain first, basta something like that before he sign the waiver. The reason is para perjury ung kaso and ms mabigat ata un kesa sa libel, not familiar with that law. Aminado nman sya n my account pero d ganon kalaki.

I believe you Peter. But first, let them (All Pres & VP candidate) sign a waiver of their bank accounts, investments, assets, etc. not just a certification. Anybody can issue a certificate and manipulate bank records from within.
Remember Murdoch? He said "The best way to rob a bank is to own one" No wonder, big corporate owner had put up their own bank or as a majority stock holder of a bank, so they can have a full and unrestricted control of bank operation.

Now, let's do the connect the dot puzzle:

UCPB • SMC (Danding) • BDO??? go figure...

Going back to Trillanes, let's take a look at what incumbent VP has to say:

From the office of the HONORABLE vice president
    www.ovp.gov.ph

The camp of Vice President Jejomar C. Binay today said Senator Antonio Trillanes IV should explain the hiring of "overpriced" consultants, including his brother who raked in P71,200 a month or almost half a million in six months last year.

Senate documents revealed that Trillanes hired 55 consultants and paid P7.5 million in fees which is P4.46 million more than the P3.04 million allotted for hiring consultants.

Trillanes also hired his brother Juan Antonio Trillanes for P71,200 per month, one of the most highly paid consultants of the 55 consultants. From July to December 2014, the brother took home P427,000.

Atty. Rico Quicho, spokesperson for political affairs, said Trillanes "should not be too onion-skinned if the people demand that he explain such exorbitant expense for his consultants."

The fact that the Commission on Audit (COA) stressed that Senator Trillanes consultants' failed to submit accomplishment reports or even their respective resumes to justify the fees paid to them show an utter failure to comply with COA rules, he said.

"Surely a person like the senator's brother and other consultants who were paid P71,200 a month in fees would have solid credentials worthy of being mentioned in Google or LinkedIn but a cursory search yielded zero results," Quicho said.

Quicho added: "Senators often blab that a public office is a public trust but when it comes to Senator Trillanes, he lacks transparency and accountability for his actions. Often, he hides from it. If the consultancy fees cannot be justified, then we cannot help but conclude his consultants were overpriced."

Senator Trillanes "must be reminded that his bullying is never a substitute to proper reasoning," Quicho said.

Senate documents showed that Trillanes spent P1.25 million monthly to pay 55 consultants. This is double the budget allocation for consultancy services for a senator’s office which is P506,262 a month.

While Trillanes' brother got a hefty P71,200 monthly consultant's fee, it is interesting to note that a consultant named Eddie Ybanez received only P3,500 a month, Quicho said.

COA had sent a memo to Senate President Franklin Drilon asking him to account for the P231.88 million spent on Senate consultants in 2014.

In the memo, supervising auditor Mario Lipana noted that several senators spent more than the allotted amount for consultants' fees.

COA said: “Analysis of subsidiary ledger account consultancy services which mostly consists of expenses for consultancy services of different offices of senators reveals that there were several senators’ offices that exceed the budgetary allocations."

COA, which did not name names, also noted: “Further review of the accounts including the corresponding liquidation documents for the senators’ cash advances and the disbursements vouchers for the claims for consultancy services paid directly through check, disclosed that the reason for exceeding the budgetary allocation for the said account is due to hiring of many consultants wherein a Senator’s office hired more than 60 consultants and also of giving a consultants’ rate as high as P94,000 per month."

Among Trillanes' "overpriced" consultants are Segundino Orfiano Jr., Ian Lee Punongbayan and Jayme Torrato at P71,200 a month.

A certain Sherwin Sanusie was paid P71,100 while Sonny Madarang got P71,300 a month.

    Others consultants received P40,000, P50,000 and P60,000.

COA said that the consultants did not provide accomplishment reports as required by COA rules.

There were also no resumes or other documentary information on the consultants to show they are qualified to be hired as consultants, COA said.

The kind of work the consultants did could not be determined, COA added, as their services were considered “confidential in nature.”

“Hence, the importance or indispensability of hiring consultants could not be determined,” the COA said.

The COA required the Senate to explain or justify the “sudden increase of expenses for consultancy services.”

The COA required Drilon, for example, to explain why consultancy fees paid by his office continuously increased from P147.57 million in 2012, P188.96 million in 2013, and P231.88 million in 2014.
