The cheapest wedding for about 150 guests will set you back around 300k - that's with a clubhouse-level reception venue and low-end photo/video, catering, hmua, etc.

500k becomes pretty decent if you're in Manila. Add another 100-200k for a Tagaytay wedding because of out of town fees.

Spending on a wedding is just like spending on a Eurotrip - you pay for the experience and memories which will last you a lifetime.

I agree that you shouldn't spend frivorously - but again 1M might not mean the same to one person as it does for another.

I really dont know why but when you mention shangrila say when you meet another couple or couples in a party or event, biglang nagiibs ang expression ng muka ng femaile, limalaki mata tapos yun guy biglang gusto ko na nya maging kaibigsn for life or ask what you do ang become attentive.
