Oh di ba. Boooomm yeah yeah... holla!!!!
Si cathy girl hindi nadifferentiate between duterte and binay. Kasi sabi din nya wala sa circle nya bumoto kay binay. (pero buti naman wala ka kilala bumoto kay binay kasi so much abuse of power yan. Mangkwakwarta to the max)
Cathy, alam lo nagbabasa ka. Madami makaduterte diya sa south. Kaso low profile lang kasi magellan blood. hahahahah
Let's put this into perspective - even if percentage-wise, Duterte has more support in ABC compared to DE, in terms of absolute, far more Duterte supporters are masa simply because most Filipinos are masa.
AB represents 1% of Filipinos, C represents 9% of Filipinos. And it has been repeatedly noted by survey companies that people classified as AB tend to refuse surveys. So you can say that most of the ABC sentiment is really just C. Even if all of AB dislike Duterte, that's a very small number of dissatisfied people.
Using the the SWS numbers - 7.9M from ABC support Duterte while 1.3M are dissatisfied with Duterte. The AB subsegment is so small that even if they mostly dislike Duterte, it doesn't make a dent in the overall ABC subsegment.
Noone ever does surveys singling out AB because it's such a small population so it's hard to get statistically correct sampling. But it's an important segment because even if they're few in number, they hold so much wealth and influence. Too bad we don't have data for that.
Anyway going back to the survey - 63% of class D and 69% of E support Duterte, and that's equivalent to roughly 60 million people. So even if the percentages don't show, the fact that so much of the country is masa means that most of Duterte's supporters are masa also. Of course it goes without saying that the reverse is true, most of Duterte's detractors are masa too.

ok so i can go back to my thesis that the poor masses supported du30 coz du30's unrefined characteristics appeal to them
and the upper and educated middle class support LP coz they identify with the refined, polite, well-mannered elites of society
so myth not busted
can we break the news to dreamur?
Much has changed between voting time and today. Many of the poor who supported Duterte during the campaign season have now become detractors as they begin to experience first-hand the screw-ups of the Duterte government. It's them who bear the brunt of inflation as they received zero or minimal increase in take-home pay from TRAIN. It's their family members who get killed in the drug war that only targets the poor but knocks gently on the doors of the wealthy.
Likewise, in higher-educated circles (which again I have to reiterate is a very very very very very very small part of the population), those who previously argued for Duterte are now seeing the reasoning of those who have been against him from the start.
"Educated" is also a very vague term. Go into the campuses of PUP, NU, AdU etc and chances are you'll find a lot of Duterte supporters. But go into AdMU and DLSU and you'll find a disproportionate amount of Duterte detractors that does not reflect the big picture.

i know i'm making sweeping generalizations
the 16 million aren't entirely composed of poor masses
there are ABC among them
-
it seems walang naligaw na class AB du30 supporter dito sa tsikot o baka tahimik lang
the overwhelming anti-du30 sentiment here in tsikot forum reinforces my view that elitists do not support du30 coz they're repulsed by him
even if tsikot is a small sample size

Still your argument of upper/educated middle class supporting LP and poor masses voted for duterte is flawed as there were class AB who voted for digong and class AB who voted for Poe and Binay. The same for the poor residents of makati who voted for Poe and Binay.
So yes, myth is still busted.

i make sweeping generalizations
some class AB may leak to the pro-du30 side
some class DE may leak to the anti-du30 side
no big deal

Just to set things straight:
PET throws out Marcos petition | Inquirer News
The Supreme Court, acting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), has tossed out for being moot former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s petition seeking an investigation of the presence of a staff member of his rival, Vice President Leni Robredo, at the swimming party of its personnel.
As correctly pointed out by Robredo’s lawyers, the electoral body handling Marcos’ election protest against her said it had already looked into the incident, which happened on June 22 in a private resort in Calamba City.
The PET released the resolution to the media on Friday.
Emil Maranon III, a member of Robredo’s legal team, said the PET’s ruling only proved that Marcos’ latest legal maneuver was nothing but a “PR stunt to confuse the public with lies.”
“This is precisely why we filed the countermanifestation. We knew that Marcos knew about what the revisers did,” Maranon said in a statement.
Both camps invited
The Vice President’s camp had earlier told the PET that the son and namesake of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos was lying when he questioned the propriety of the outing, saying his camp knew of the event since both camps were invited.
She said one of Marcos’ staff members, whom she identified as Roderick Miranda, even provided snacks for the swimming party. —MARLON RAMOS
Gago moves. Nag petition para lang maka headline.
Ethics from this administration? Ano yun?! Then again, ok lang walang ethics, kesa delawan.
Do Bong Go’s donations, billboards violate government ethics code?
