My simple explanation.. we need to respect the law of our land.

If you feel its really right to kill drug lords then you should push for a law that allows killing them on sight whether proven guilty or not. Let's include na rin dirty politicians/law enforcers, murderers, rapists, robbers, smugglers, scammers, traffic violators, and other similar society menaces. In fact, let's hire Judge Dredd and The Punisher to enforce the law to avoid cherry picking. hehehe

Bottom line, our reasoning will differ depending on our moral compass, if any.

Sir if by any chance, would you then agree on death penalty for drug lords,protectors,rapist,killers,murderes, or the so-called vicious crimes?
