AFAIK, the General was not relieved for being Pro-Duterte. He was relieved because he tagged *specific* politicians in his warning against cheating. That's being partisan. You cannot make proclamations for or against candidates in your official role as a police commander.

The crux of the matter is: If he simply filed an SPA allowing his Attorney to request a full print out of transaction records, the matter will be closed. Instead, the legalese on the SPA means that BPI does not have to disclose the actual transactions or running total of the account.
This indicates that Duterte simply doesn't want people to know what is in the account. All people will find out is whether the account total ever reached 211 million.
