My friend and I can't go to the rally tomorrow. But we'll be there in spirit.

i guess i'm just disillusioned with our government and the people in the political scene.
electing a person to an office shouldn't be like buying/opening a box of chocolates. kaya nga medyo mahaba yung campaign/election process para makilala muna ng mabuti ng mga tayo yung candidates. problem is madaming pag nasa pwesto na eh kung ano-ano na ginagawa.
I just hope that this new protest against the current administration will result to a reform that will put away corruption in our government for good.
The Philippines is in a real bad shape and needs leaders that were not tainted with self-serving intentions and with a resolute mandate to serve and protect the Filipino people's dignity.
My fellow tsikoteers, if you feel you are offended with what's going on and you feel that now is the right time for reforms, please submit yourselves and become and agent of change (Obama's battlecry). I would do so if I am there and be part of this unwritten history. Just my 2 cents.
well, parang ok si manny kasi isipin mo taga dito sa atin presidente natin.
looking at parliamentary form of govt seguro tingnan natin ang mga bayan na ganun. obserba ko most stable and progressive countries ay parliamentary government. gaya ng Japan, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, Sweden, and also India, Singapore, and Malaysia. at sabi mo nga no confidence vote lang katapat niyan to loosen the grip of an unpopular leader. ito pahayag ng pro cha-cha natin: ang parliamentary government will help us to have good governance. ang mabuti at mabisang pamamalakad ng ating gobyerno at bayan.
yun namang Charter change to a parliamentary government will enable us to respond more efficiently and effectively to our problems, meet our challenges and achieve our goals as a nation, and compete in the global economy. at sabi pa less restrictions on foreign investments and participation, the Government will be better able to help in attracting these investments that will create more jobs, raise incomes, provide better education, health, welfare, and security to our people and we can build and maintain more schools, hospitals, waterworks, roads, bridges, seaports and airports. with a great deal of political will, hard work and sacrifice we can build a nation worthy of our heroes, a country fit for our children—of which Filipinos can be really proud. iyun ang mga pang "come on" ng current admin sa atin ito to joint cha-cha.

Corruption is a social ill that may take generations to filter out. Many in opposition are known to be corrupt themsleves. I am suprised why no one made mentioned who was Chief PNP and President when the subject of Dacer came up.
i agree. naisip ko nga rin eh kung magrarally para sa pagbabago (against corrption), bakit against GMA lang? imo, all the branches of govt needs lasting reforms not only the executive. and the change was necessary wayyyyyyy back. kung dati pa kasi ginawa ang pagbabago, ndi na tayo dadating pa sa ganitong sitwasyon.
at tulad ng mga previous posts ko, may baho both admin and opposition kaya no choice.
then about the former chief PNP and the Dacer case. may baho nga opposition, the same as admin. and jun lozada is a witness of the former PNP chief now mr. senator?
Perfect... include the Kuratong-Baleleng rob-out at si Bentain [casino employee] to name a few...Ok naman yang rally na yan, magkakaproblema lang kapag kasama sina jinggoy, binay, maceda,jv ejercito,lacson,pimentel,guingona,a.cayetano,ccp/npa,left wing congressmen

one politician made sense when he said "theres no better alternative kay GMA kaya di sya mapatalsik". i think you will all agree.![]()
so far nagse set up pa lang sila ng mga cams... and before 12 assembly na nila sa makati fire station.
that's the problem, bro. . .
kaya nga siguro, whatever form of government, it is apt for philippine politics to have a periodic (every 2 yrs) vote of confidence during the tenure of important government officials-not just the president. . .
in a parliamentary government such as japan, it is done in the diet. . .but what i suggest is something like a plebiscite, and not in the hands of the senators/congressmen (sans clowns. . .para hindi circus). . .we, the voters, should determine whether the present public official is fit to continue his/her term of office or should be replaced by the person who is next in line as pre-determined in the constitution. . .
government officials, especially the elected ones, should be accountable to the people. . .and this is one way we can tell them, "hey, you're a disapointment to us, hit the road, jack!"
just my 2 cents. . .
peace of christ. . .

"this building is owned by many individuals/corporations.. the Arroyo's only own 7th and 8th floor"
we actually had a laugh when lacson was questioning lozada about the supposed abduction at naia because ping's facial expression was priceless when lozada suddenly blurted out that he feared for his life when he was reminded of dacer's unfortunate fate at the hands of the lacson led pnp of yore. :bwahaha:
Based on our count, less than 10,000 people are now gathered in the Ninoy Aquino Monument. People are continue pouring in.
