Not sure but the intersection opened upon the "request" of a big Mall behind City Hall. Manila is one chaotic mess with all those motorized pedicabs everwhere. The funny thing is there is no city ordinance or LTFRB decree which make them illegal...

True. If you go to Manila these days, drive carefully because there are thousands of these unregulated tricycles that weave around and they blatantly disobey traffic rules because the sorry cop has nothing to arrest them for. No registration, no license at all. Minsan mayroon akong nakita na nag counter flow sa harap pa mismo ng MMDA. Hinarang ng MMDA pero walang nagawa si MMDA, nagmurahan lang sila. May paraan dyan kung may political will, e parang wala talagang maasahan dito kay Alfredo Lim. Lim also is a traitor to his own constituents for risking the lives of the people of Pandacan by retaining the Oil Depots there.
I don't think I admire Atienza either - mas priority nya maglagay ng mga decorative lights kesa traffic lights. Ang daming intersections sa Manila ang walang matinong traffic light.
Pag aaralan ko nga itong si Razon baka pwedeng alternatibo.

April 28th, 2010 07:09 PM #64the present administration of manila is also guilty of putting up too many lamp posts. have you been to lacson/gov forbes and un avenue lately? whatever happened to conserving energy? the sheer number is too much even for peace and order's sake.
i think in other cities the same seems to apply.
