AFAIK the Legarda-Leviste family has had a falling out since Legarda and her husband Leviste separated in the 90s.

Honestly nakakatawa how the son bad-mouthing his mother is suddenly a bad thing for Pinoy culture. For 6 years we've had a president who curses on prime-time TV, kisses women, cat-calls women, slanders women, even admits to lying on TV, and where were these morality policemen, both here in Tsikot and IRL? Oh they're the ones applauding for the past 6 years because the president is a "normal Filipino", not elitista.
