I’m surprised this wasn’t posted here yet:

Leni and Isko gained +5 each, converting most of the undecided voters and a few BBM/Pacquiao voters.

This survey came after BBM’s snub of the Jessica Soho interviews and his Boy Abunda 1:1. The BBM fanbase is largely unfazed by the allegations thrown at him. They know na magnanakaw siya, they know na sinungaling siya, but they will vote for him anyway.

For most of his voters - they accept the reality that they’ll be poor anyway regardless of who wins. At least they’re given hope with false promises under a BBM presidency.

Leni today is where she was exactly 6 years ago, at the 20% range. Big difference is there is no Chiz Escudero to split the majority vote. The next 90 days will be critical and they will need to make headwinds in the land of 10% per month directly taken from BBM’s fanbase to have a shot at winning by May.

Huh!? Then why was BBM convicted in the first place?

Wala lang yun conviction? Trip lang ng judge?

So there's no law pala on tax evasion, sino mga hinahabol ng BIR?

Wala na dapat magbayad ng tax. Lahat ng automatic deduction I demanda BIR.

People are voting for BBM knowing full well that he’s a tax evader.

They’re voting him because it means mas madaling hindi magbayad ng tax under a Marcos presidency since nothing will be done to stop the bribery and corruption on filing taxes.

    ^^^no.

Ang naappoint lang naman ng president are the dept. heads, below that almost all are career officers. Kahit sino pang presidente nandyan pa rin sila. And they’re the one who people regularly deal with.

For sure corruption will not vanish even if it’s a Leni presidency. Anyone who thinks such is naive.

But there’s a difference between trying to get corruption from 100% to 95%, and leveling it up from 100% to 105%.

A businessman friend of mine did not vote for Vico in the last elections for Mayor. Kay Vico daw baka dumaan pa sa tamang sistema mas maging hassle pa daw for them.

Correct. [emoji22]

While businessmen and the informal sector have the option to go the shady route and avoid/minimize taxes, employees like me automatically get 1/3 of our income deducted already.

I obviously prefer a world where corruption was lessened to some extent, because then I’d at least see my taxes put to good use.
