Parang yung sa traffic jam lang. Ayon kay Mar, the horrendous traffic jam in M.M. is proof of tremendous economic growth. DUH... economic growth or incompetent governance?

i think its not valid to use edsa traffic if our present government is competent or not. Oo may pag kukulang sa edsa but yung problem na yan matagal pinabayaan, ilang term ba dumaan diyan? dont expect pag gising natin isang araw wala na yan. Atleast now, someone is trying to resolve the problem. Just mention nalang yoland rehab program yun ung for me incompetent talaga. Andami pera hindi pa ma execute dapat gawin ilan taon na nakalipas.

Technically, traffic part of a sign of economic growth. Dahil more people can afford to buy vehicles, thru loans Sa financial institutions. But that's just their way of explaining it simply. Meron talaga problema dahil wala ng kalsada.

Traffic kasi palpak ang Daang Matuwid sa pag-improve ng MASS TRANSPORT SYSTEM. 6 years and what do we get? Almost araw-araw sira ang MRT / LRT, palpak ang PNR, etc. etc. With no viable transportation alternative, CARMAGEDDON tayong lahat.

Inuna kasi nina PNOY ang kapakanan ng bilyornaryong (Ayalas) at mga kickback sa DOTC nina PAbaya, et. al, kaya ang kawawang taumbayan ang nagdurusa.

“I don’t know about that – the more progressive a place is, the more there’s traffic – that’s not a justification not to address traffic,” Robredo said yesterday during a vice presidential forum organized by the National Alliance of Youth Leaders at the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
“I don’t think that’s a correct position. Yes, there’s progress but that’s no reason for traffic,” she added.
She said there should be an acceptance that there is a problem with traffic and the need for an efficient mass transport system.

“More progressive (countries) have less traffic. We may be not that progressive, but our traffic is worse,” she said.

Robredo admitted the Aquino administration has failed to address the problems in the mass transport system.

She said the administration has many achievements, except in mass transportation. She cited the recurring breakdown of the Metro Rail Transit 3 and the need to rehabilitate the Philippine National Railways.

Pero sa edsa? Ano paba magagawa natin sa Edsa? Ilang dekada pinabayaan, Sobrang over crowded na. Alternative mass transportation on edsa? Can you suggest one? Saan dadaan?
