Mendoza: We’re still waiting for the overseas votes, 500K votes from ARMM, 200K votes from CARAGA.

Malaki din lamang ni leni sa ARMM at CARAGA. Overseas absentee voting na lang pag-asa ni bbm.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pacquiao wins as President. How embarrassing

Filipino electorates are the "in the moment" type.

Just wanted to vent out that Filipino electorate had wasted a lot of good leaders by going to who's the "it" guy during the campaign instead of someone who will be good for them in the long run.

    Voters lack foresight.

I'll say pinoy voters wasted mirriam during her first foray in president ran. Rocco and probably mar roxas.

These people could have been good for the country and yet. Oh well...

    We get what we deserve.

I think this goes all the way back to Recto. Then followed by the likes of Roco, then Roxas. Capable and get good numbers in a Senatorial race but fall short in the Presidential derby.

it's good that i don't have an fb. i don't have to "unfriend" anybody. but if you have a friend or follower or following who thinks like kagalingan or nice2knowu who wouldn't have a fit?

Financial markets responded to the unfolding political drama with renewed vigor after being whiplashed by uncertainties in the weeks before the polls. The peso rallied to P46.75 against the dollar, gaining 0.7%, its best in six weeks, according to currency spot market data. The Philippine Stock Exchange index ended a two-day losing streak to post its best day since Jan. 27, rising 2.6% to 7,174.88.

“The market has accepted the results of the elections... and is ready to move on,” Raul P. Ruiz, vice-president and research head of RCBC Securities, Inc., said in a mobile phone message.
