    ARMM is still at 45%
    region 13 at 66%
    region iv-b at 72%

still plenty of room for a switcheroo in VP slot

less than 200 voter difference can go either way

MAP: #PHVote 216 Philippine Election Results

analyzing the interactive map and considering that most of the regions where Robredo leads are still halfway from being counted, we should expect a narrow victory for Leni...

well, I could be wrong though >.>

Davao was as free as Cebu when he was still mayor. Im not sure why all this dictatorship is an issue. We need discipline. I hope the PNP is revamped top to bottom. I handled vismin for 2 years. Business trips to davao was always exciting. One of the major difference then was the Davao Airport. Ngayon recent years lng naka abot ang metro manila terminals.

I also dont understand why dictatorship is being thrown at him. We're from manila but my sister now lives in davao for more than 10 years now and shes my living proof of how digong serves the people. Ok n ok po daw tlga and so far eh safe tlga and wala mga addicts s area nila, and people has discipline. Lets give him a chance.

democracy does not guarantee freedom. remember that.

more often than not, democracy has often led to tyranny throughout history(refer to Plato's republic)

REPOST VIDEO FROM VICE MAYOR PULONG DUTERTE

    EXECUTIVE ORDER #1
If elected in office, presidential frontrunner Rodrigo Duterte intends to prohibit his friends and relatives from entering Malacañang especially if they are seeking personal favors.
“There will be no friends. There will be nothing except the people of the Republic… I do not want to see friends, relatives following up anything at all,” Duterte said in a video posted on Facebook by his son, Davao Vice Mayor Paolo “Pulong” Duterte.
“Just like the years that I have been the mayor, you do not go to me asking for favors at the expense of the people,” added Duterte who faces imminent landslide victory in the presidential elections.
The video of Duterte’s candid remarks was captioned “Executive Order no. 1?” by the vice mayor.

By my computations, Leni will win by roughly 250k votes over BBM.

OFW vote is a net loss of 100k votes to BBM. I wish our OFWs understood that a big reason why they had to go abroad is because the Marcos family got the country so heavily in debt several decades ago.

Anyway, at the current tally of 87%, BBM only leads by 39k votes. By the time most of you wake up, Leni should be leading.

    Leni leads! BBM has a solid 75% from region 1 & 2. But Leni was carried by Region 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 13, NIR, and ARMM.

OFW votes are the clincher with BBM having a 2:1 lead, but once the votes from the remaining regions (esp 13 and ARMM which are under 70%) are counted, Leni should come out on top.

VP race: Marcos camp insinuates cheating as Robredo grabs lead

VP race: Marcos camp insinuates cheating as Robredo grabs lead
Senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos' camp asks the Comelec for a breakdown of the unofficial results

MANILA, Philippines – Reelectionist ABAKADA Party-list Representative Jonathan dela Cruz expressed worry over what they said was possible cheating after Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo overtook Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr in the vice presidential race.

At past 3am Tuesday, May 10, Robredo snatched the top spot in the vice presidential race by a slim margin of at least 500 votes.

“While the country is sleeping, we have seen a steep degree of his lead from one million to now trailing by 500 votes,” Marcos’ campaign adviser told reporters in a briefing.

Dela Cruz wants the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to provide their camp a breakdown of the votes, stressing that the surge of votes for Robredo “came out of the blue.”

“We do not know where these votes are coming from,” he also said.

Asked what would be their camp’s next action, dela Cruz implied that they will call on the Comelec to stop releasing the unofficial results.

“The unofficial count may confuse the public because we have an official count, and if the unofficial count doesn’t tally with the official count” there will be a problem, said dela Cruz.

Marcos’ confidence on winning the elections slowly eroded Monday evening when he said he did not have a “comfortable lead” over Robredo.

He said that he will only be relieved when he takes his oath, noting that it has been hard to identify the source of votes transmitted. His camp said that based on reports, they are uncertain what specific areas or provinces are the votes coming from.

The son and namesake of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos was leading the race by over a hundred thousand when transmission of results began just minutes after the polls closed at 5pm Monday, May 9. By the middle of the transmission, the margin grew by a million until it again shrank to a few hundred thousand.

By 5:08 am Tuesday, Robredo led by 36,876 votes (13,014,447 for Robredo, 12,977,571 for Marcos).

Marcos, in the days leading to the election, has rallied his supporters to guard their votes after receiving reports of discrepancies in the voting receipts of his supporters abroad during overseas absentee voting.

He has also slammed the Liberal Party for "conditioning" the minds of voters when he lost the top spot to Robredo in the last ABS-CBN survey. Robredo's camp, however, denied his accusation. – Rappler.com
