    Pampagulo lang si Miriam.

Is it just me or does Miriam look edgy, nervous? Ang parang hirap magsalita.

sigh, she can only deny it for so long...

Hay, duterte. This is probably the first time in all history where a man's own privates were involved in a presidential debate

Same observation, MDS suddenly looks like a novice. This debate should've been right up her alley.

Baka nagulat na walang time for pickup lines???

PiliPinas 2016 Debate: Round 1 goes to Mar Roxas

MANILA, Philippines – Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas won Round 1 of the PiliPinas 2016: The Cagayan de Oro Presidential Debate.

Round 1 covered topics ranging from wealth, corruption, experience in government, health, morality, and Super Typhoon Yolanda.

Rappler editors judged the winner based on the following criteria:

    Truthfulness (values, consistency)
Overall impact (vision, leadership, ability to articulate thoughts)
    Knowledge/facts on file
The candidate adjudged the loser based on the following criteria:

Inability to articulate thoughts, express vision and plans
    Inconsistency, lying, tentativeness, bluffing
    Lack of vision, leadership
Roxas also went on the offensive, attacking the other candidates – Poe's competence, Binay's alleged corruption, and the temper of Duterte.

"Kung ihahambing natin ang pagpili ng pangulo sa sino ang magmamaneho sa ating mga anak sa araw-araw, kanino natin ipagkakatiwala? Sa taong may kaso, sa taong mainitin ang ulo, sa taong ngayon pa lang natututo magmaneho, o sa taong ni minsan hindi kayo ipinahamak?" he also said in his opening remarks.

PiliPinas 2016 Debate: Round 2 goes to Grace Poe

MANILA, Philippines - Our pick as the winner of the 2nd round of the PiliPinas 2016: The Cagayan de Oro Presidential Debate on Sunday, February 21, is Senator Grace Poe.

Round 2 tackled issues related to poverty and development, such as those affecting farmers and fishermen.

Poe came in prepared for this round: she showed she is familiar with the problems facing farmers and discussed specific solutions to them such as the setting up of agro-industrial zones.

Rebutting her, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago said these are easier said than done but that previous governments have been unable to solve these problems anyway.

To which Poe said: That’s why it’s about time a new president with fresh perspective is elected.

Rappler editors judged the winner based on the following criteria:

    •Truthfulness (values, consistency)

•Overall impact (vision, leadership, ability to articulate thoughts)

    •Knowledge/facts on file

Vice President Jejomar Binay also came out strong due to his knowledge of issues related to poverty and development. – Rappler.com
