That simple. It's a demonstration that we can save by not spending.

Plus, the ever increasing remittances from our dear OFWs. Again, this is an irony on a[n embarrassing] national scale. The government cannot provide [decent] jobs in our country for our people,- who went out of the country out of total desperation to improve their lot. And then voila!,- they are the major factor for our economy to be at this level of growth.

Now, where are we on the much needed infrastructures to propel us to the next level of growth? They are coming but maybe a tad too late to SUSTAIN/propel growth and serve our people.

Again, as I stated some time ago, this administration adopted that stance [do not spend,- arguably no corruption,- favorable balance of payment],- as if it was not taught in business school (And, I am no War-Thorn graduate, BTW).

If indeed this administration really pushes for the economy to grow,- why didn't they lift a finger on the Manila Port Congestion??? They just waited for the issue to heal by itself in 6month(?). Again,- that was an economic disaster/blackmail as materials for production were not coming in and their shelf-life expiring on Manila Bay, resulting to the manufacturers shutting down their operation. Not in the headlines. But those in the industry hold this near to their guts. Remember the "no chicken joy"? Yeah.., that was the time...

We needed to help ourselves with little or no government support to extricate ourselves from that situation... The industry joke was that it was laisse faire theory, i.e.,- the government is too lazy to help us in the industry. And we are one of the biggest (if not the biggest) dollar earner for exports!!!

Plus I am certain that we know a lot more on our national utilities (DOTC, MRT, etc... BTW, where is the LRT to Cavite???)....

Lastly, I agree that Roxas has the credentials. But then again, right now, as I see it,- he is not winnable, probably because of his personality and his past deeds (or no deeds - one of my good friend in the industry calls this the "sin of omission").

And this news that the administration is going to support Poe?...

IMO, if and only if this is true,- this is unquestionably dastardly... Roxas should be jumping up and down.

A friend (much less a party-mate), should be with his buddy, no matter what....Roxas stepped down to give way to the Presidency...

I guess the least he can expect is for the support, whether he wins or lose.

Madali lang yan. Remember the happy compromise? Sa aking kuro kuro, Mar will concede (1-2 weeks before election) para i offer ang support kay poe. In return, babayaran ni Danding yung ginastos ni Mar sa kampanya, which is billion, lugmok na sa utang ang mga araneta dahil sa ambisyon ni Mar. Second, binay will do the same, no money, but will ask for immunity, kasi buong pamilya niya ang makukulong pag d sya nanalo.

They have more than enough funds to field a president every election.

Anyone remember what Poe said before? ...

“You also have to know your limitations. At this point, I really don’t have the machinery, the experience is not also there and more importantly, what my father has gone through,” the lady senator said in an interview last March.

You are correct, we should all be vigilant on how favors are returned. This is a duty of every citizen. Apply it to Judy Roxas (Roxas), Susan Roces (Poe), James Tiu (Binay), and Arthur Tugade (Duterte). And let us wait for the updated list after election.

Roxas - Open book. Because Roxas.
    Poe - Because FPJ.
Santiago - Maybe from law practice.
Binay - Full time government employee. Highly doubtful.
Duterte - Maybe from his businesses, law practice. Salary as a government employee.

So there, I have not taken a closer look on our candidates net worth, this is just a start. Take note that these are what they declared on their SALN, I assume (reasonably) that they have more on other peoples name.

Kung talagang kailangan dayain para manalo si mar gawin na nila to save Philippines from binay and duterte. 50/50 pa ako kay Poe.

After winning by rigging the election just make sure he'll be the best president ever.

Kung maganda mapakita niya in 6 years everybody will forget about election rigging.

Meanwhile, Duterte supporters don't seem to have that sentiment to his "kill all (petty) criminals" approach.

Would you know his stand on the big time syndicates, triads and smugglers?

On mainstream media (not just FB and some small website), he says he will release GMA for starters. His stand on China, the NPA, the Marcoses, and even his statement on women and rape leaves a lot to be desired.

I personally know (and trust the word of) someone in the steel industry and guess who's close to the steel smugglers in Davao.

    Seriously???????

    Hello Garci, ikaw ba yan?

Baka naman kamag anak mo si (Rigoberto) Tiglao. He also advocated the same against FPJ, and so we had another 6 years of GMA.

based also in this survey, the election is only between Poe and Duterte. Ang laki na ng lamang nila kay Binay at Mar. Mukhang tama si Binay, maglalaban sila ni Mar. Yun nga lang for 3rd place.

If Mar will do another "supreme" sacrifice, Poe will win convincingly.

Body language ni grace poe nakakatakot. Nung una neutral lang ako. Pero ngayon parang dalawang brigade babakod dito. The bulong brigade at maimpluensyahan brigade.

Even each candidates thread here is align with the survey :

    1. Duterte - 1460 replies
    2. Grace Poe - 1391 replies
    3. Negro - 1,101 replies
    4. Mar - 283 replies

That's how interesting each candidate is regardless whether a + or - reply.
