You seem to know all the answers. That is not bad. And, in fairness, you are different from the rest of Duterte's supporters who are, for lack of better description, mostly war freak. Recall what they did to Stephen Villena of UPLB.

But, if Duterte is really that good, then why engage in a negative campaign, where you sling mud at your opponent to get ahead, instead of highlighting his virtues which you profess are the answers to our country's woes? If you would say the other side is doing the same, that would not make you any better. There is no substitute for decency, my friend.

Duterte said: "If elected president, give me about three to six months I will get rid of corruption, drugs and criminality."

How would he do it? Don't tell me that he would do it Davao style. Duterte (and his daughter) lorded over Davao for years but he would be lying if he would say that he had succesfully eradicated crimes in his city, or was able to get rid of them in the first six months of his reign as mayor.

The crime volume for index and non-index crimes, for the first half of 2015, had ballooned to 888,445 from 603,085 in 2014. In other words, for the first six months of last year, the increase to the crime volume was 282,360. Meaning, there were at least 1,568 crimes that were committed each day from January to June last year.

Crime is a social phenomenon, we all know that, but tell us how Duterte could eradicate it? What is his plan of action, his strategy to combat it? By shooting all the criminals? If he would do just that, we would have at least 1,000 summary executions everyday for the first 180 days of his term. It would put us in the map as the murder capital of the world with at least 41 murders every hour and 41 times deadlier than El Salvador, the present title holder, who only has one murder per hour.

Give us something specific, not merely motherhood statement.

That is crime alone. How about inclusive growth and the economy? Poverty alleviation? Job creation? Debt servicing? The West Philippine sea? You cannot solve all these things merely by cussing. You explain them well to us not by hitting other candidates or this present administration.

As one of his campaign promises, he said he would increase the salary of our uniformed personnel (more or less 160,000 PNP personnel and 125,000 in the AFP) to P100,000. He would need this amount --P28,500,000,000-- PER MONTH for the uniformed personnel alone! That is more than one-half of the salary increase (P52B) for all government employees pegged by Congress in the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of 2016!

Annually, he would need this-- P342,000,000,000. That is a little more than 10 percent of our national budget! More than the combined budget of the DILG and the Department of National Defense.

You bring Mr. Leoncio Evasco here. I want to hear from him not merely his underling who has the penchant to cite his grandfather and uncles. Or, in the mean time, I am better off listening to my favorite song from Apo Hiking Society:

to be honest, I don't know how duterte will do what he promises, as far as those information or data showing high crime rate index, etc. I may be mistaken but any information or data coming from government agencies controlled by the yellow admin may be not entirely true.

My argument is this, as I've mentioned before, we stayed in Davao for 2 weeks & we felt safer even compared to our hometown of Cebu. is it just some wild coincidence that Davao was all peaceful & safe when we stayed there for 2 weeks? Or is Davao really is as good as Duterte is saying? Or are those so called "facts" from government agencies such as PNP, etc are merely lies that are being branded as "fact" when in fact it is a just a desperate attempt to discredit Duterte's candidacy?

As far as mud-slinging the other candidates, I'm merely letting off steam on my frustrations for (what i & several others believe) these shameless, thieving, & conniving trapos that are aspiring to become the next president.

i'm particularly exasperated on mar & the yellow admin in general is because of their outright insult of using the yellow ribbon as the symbol of the Philippines. the symbol of our country is our proud Philippine flag.

i abhor the yellow ribbon because that to me a big slap to everyone that the yellow dynasty rules the Philippines & not the people.

mar & anyone from the daan matuwid's reputation is mud for most of the visayas & Mindanao. this is one example of why the brand of yellow admin is rubbish. here's one video showing the humungous crowd gathering during duterte's gathering's.

right now, my intention is not to mud-sling mar i just want to highlight the point on why would you vote for mar when it is pretty obvious that he is a liar. mar said during the CNN interview that there were thousands of people who came there for him. check this video from FB & tell me if what he said is nothing but a big fat LIE.

2. poe - puppet of danding cojuanngco

going back on what i said about poe being danding cojuangco's puppet, what this essentially means is that if & when poe wins, the Philippines will continue to degrade into an even worse state than it already is. there may be some who may not be as affected, a very select few who will definitely benefit from her winning but the majority of the pinoys will continue to suffer utter mediocrity in the next 6 years.

on a different note, you're song is a subtle implication that i may be someone who's still young, well, i will take that as a compliment as i'm already in my 40's.

Let's not go too far. The claim that davao is the safest is a lie. One of the safest in the world pa ata claim at the time. That was proven to be false. And the claim that mar didn't graduate from wharton was also a lie. That was also proven false. Anti-criminal daw? Sa last debate lang he even complimented binay. He also said na if he would step down he would want marcos to replace him. Rebellion is a crime no? But he said he is leftist and shouted 'mabuhay ang npa'. Yung 3-6 months kaya mawala ang crime and corruption? I think that's a lie. Bottomline: they are all liars.

On the data manipulation, that i am not so sure. I do believe that they paved more roads than the past administrations combined. Sa pampanga pa lang daming bagong kalsada akong nadaanan. Yung mga projects na inaugurate, from the last presidential debate, sabi may pics naman to verify.

I think it is unfair though that mar is blamed for all the blunders of the admin kahit wala naman kinalaman. Binay was also part of the admin (in fact masmataas pa pwesto and part din ng cabinet) di naman sinisisi.

Im hoping that we all can be more objective and that as a nation we will make better decisions kasi dito nakasalalay ang future natin lahat.

Government authorities should devise a scheme, apart from differentiating index and non-index crimes, to determine, or, at least, approximate, which of the present crime volume or trend is the consequence of organized crime.

Crime solution, even if rated excellent, is too late. It is not proactive; it is reactive.

Organized crime or those crimes connected with it is preventable or can be eradicated. There is a number of organized crime syndicates operating in the country today that engage in illegal drugs, gambling, racketeering, human trafficking, money laundering, economic sabotage, etc.

This is where we need to consolidate a great bulk of our resources to combat them. These criminals are sophisticated, armed, and very dangerous. Archipelagic as we are, they have unbridled access across our borders. There is no greater motivation that induces one to action but gain or greed.

The practice of our law enforcement agencies to treat the arrest of criminals as crime solved should ought to stop. Conviction is the key. Congress must pass a law giving the National Prosecution Service of the Department of Justice law enforcement function to assist our law enforcers (NBI, BI, PNP, Aviation Security, Port Police) in their case build up against these criminal syndicates.

And this is where our presidential candidates should look into once voted into office.
