eto yung nakakatawa. Very pro GMA si Cory and Kris noon but, nung kinampihan ni GMA yung mga magsasaka sa Luisita ay biglang anti GMA na sila.

I wonder why Villar ditched the ABS CBN Forum held in UST last Dec 2 that was shown last night on national TV. Without any form of bias, it's undeniably shady considering he was the only major forerunner that was absent.
Watching the forum my notion that Noynoy was simply a symbol thrown into the presidential pits without any capabilities was changed. He was able to answer the questions thrown at him sufficiently well. As to whether it was because of his intrinsic capabilities or because of numerous external advice and mentoring, I don't know for sure. But even if it is the latter, as long as he ensures a clean cabinet and keeps a good set of advisers, coupled with his intrinsic good will, he'll be a safe presidential bet.
However, undeniably throughout the forum Gibo was able to consistently provide commendable answers that were remarkably concrete and direct. He was also able to address his affiliation with GMA (which obviously is a negative thing) in a manner that you can't call back-turning, yet he didn't suck up to the incumbent leader.
Gordon too provided decent answers in the said forums.
Erap was a big fat joke.

Its between you and God.
Palabas na lang. Ginamit pa Diyos.

Also, perhaps the reason why Gibo seems very competitive in online polls (such as this or the alleged Facebook mock election), is because Gibo's supporters mostly lie in the A, B and C segments of our socio-economic ladder. Those suffering extreme poverty obviously have limited to no internet access, and they would generally value intelligence and competence lower than popularity.
Noynoy is a special case because his main selling point is his purity, which appeals to the rich and poor alike. However, having only purity is like strapping on a B16B engine on a bone stock Civic with suspension, braking and tires not optimized to handle the added power. Thankfully Noy has been showing that he's got a little more than his parents' legacy.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
