In extremely simplified mechanics, Horsepower determines how fast a vehicle can travel. Torque determines how quickly that speed can be reached.
(Using this model as explanation, you can therefore determine that:
HP = mph, whereas Torque = 0-Top Speed in xx seconds)

Guys to make it more simple: Torque gets your car going, and horsepower keeps it going.

proportional ba ang horsepower sa torque specs ng engine?
..i'm not sure if i have this right...
torque=hatak
hp= acceleration
which engine is better...higher torque or higher HP?
