i sent my Pajero to Mitsubishi for tuneup. They found some problems with suspension. Some parts need to be replaced such as the following:

    1. Upperarm assembly
    2. Lower ball joint
    3. Inner and Outer Tire rod
    4. PipMan(??) arm
    5. Idler arm

These will total to 30K+ including labor. I didn't seem to notice or experince any problem with the suspension. Should I trust Mitsubishi and go ahead with the replacement of the parts?

    Thanks

Expensive because they are quoting all original parts.

Better if you have someone who you trust take a look at it and give you a second opinion.

I had a Pajero done in JP Wheels in Paranaque and changed almost the same parts. Used a mixture of OEM and 555 parts and it cost less than half if you search for the parts in Banawe,

Parts alone will cost 20k then labor 10k .. so if i get all original parts, it will still cost a minimum of 20k kahit sa servitek or sa iba ko pagawa..

Do you thik pag sinabi ng mitsubishi kailanagn palitan, dapat na talaga palitan?

Have you encountered any incident na nang-goyo ang casa?

Definitely gold standard ang Mitsubishi pagdating sa parts and labor. The problem is the labor since most of the time ay twice more compared sa labas. The cheaper option is to use replacement parts (if available and have it installed outside. Try the suggestions mentioned above.

30t is too much for suspension work. ang daming magaling gumawa ng suspension ng PAJ sa labas ng casa. first of all, make sure all these parts "really" need to be replaced.

i had mine done in banawe early last year using genuine 555 parts (mayroon fake kasing 555 eh). pitman arm, idler, tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, etc... although all the bushings were bought at el-dorado (a mitsu parts dealer).

i had my Paj done at motorcraft in banawe. they also do wheel alignment which you will need after an intensive suspension work. so far, so good - no problems whatsoever.

Pa check mo muna sa servitek (ako sa marcos hiway), then palitan mo yun parts na sinabi nila sa labas (ferdie) then ibalik mo sa kanila for alignment.

Just use genuine Three-Five (555) products instead. I replaced all my ball joints, the idler arm, and even the front shocks. I did not even come to half that amount including labor (I had it done at GlennSter's shop).

Have your idler arm checked. It could be as simple as a Php 150.00 bushing which the techs at Mitsubishi are to lazy to take out and replace so they are charging you for a new one.

The upper arm assembly also has replaceable bushings.

A lot of people hare at Tsikoteers have their own shops which can help you with your problems. Just ask around.

yep ako din 555 ang ginamit ko sa L200 ko last year when i had my suspension repairs sa Servitek marcos hi-way. Pitman arm, idler arm, stabilizer bar (tama ba to?) etc. Sabay sabay. It only cost me 7k kasama na labor dito. Up to now oks pa naman.
