hindi naman... ordinary air is already composed of around 75% nitrogen.

hindi mo lang ma experience yung benefits ng nitrogen-filled tires (if there is any).

Sa tingin ko lang advantage so Nitro is for the long distance driving lang siguro kasi Nitro when heated up will not expand or inrease tire pressure unlike the ordinary air the longer you drive more prone to tire burst if not monitored properly.

Nitro is not really affected by varying temps so you maintain the correct tyre pressure. Follow the mfgs suggestion. Tama yung mga comments, kung matagtag lower the tyre pressure but gas consumption will be affected a little bit.

sa escape ko, recommended for the 215/70/R16 is 30psi.

Some tires are actually designed to look bloated or 'dapa' at their correct PSI. Sometimes you just have to trust the gauge.

Iba din ang cold and hot pressure. Most of what is indicated sa doorjambs at manuals natin ay cold pressure.

And then there's what's written on the sidewall. Kaya dati naka 50psi ako sa Pajero at MB100 (as per sidewall MAX pressure). Nakupo parang semento ang gulong ko.

As for the thread starter's question, 28psi is a good starting point. Adjust mo na lang depending on your fuel economy, ride, and vehicle load.

so kung long drive .. yung tipong mga 6-8 hour continuous drive .. ano mas ok .. mas mataas or mababa ?

  19. #19
just follow the specs and adjust tyre pressure at cold temps. I read sa isang tech manual na hindi dapat tumakbo ng more than 4 km yung gulong if you want to adjust cold tyre pressure.
