sa manual ng tucson, recommended e 30psi, pero sa hyundai alabang, mas mataas ang rekomendado nung mga mekaniko. Pag long driving at full load ako, 35 psi ang pinapakarga ko, parang matalbog nga lang.

mahirap kasi dun sa stock tire ng tucson e pag 30psi ang nakalagay, parang dapang dapa, ano ba ang nakalagay sa ride mo boss clavel? yung sa akin e kumho ecsta.

sa escape ko, recommended for the 215/70/R16 is 30psi.
pero nilalagay ko 32 psi.. okay naman sya at masmatipid.
dati nilalagay ko 34-36.. mejo matagtag pero maganda manakbo un nga lang napansin ko mabilis mapudpod ung goma.

Some tires are actually designed to look bloated or 'dapa' at their correct PSI. Sometimes you just have to trust the gauge.
Iba din ang cold and hot pressure. Most of what is indicated sa doorjambs at manuals natin ay cold pressure.
And then there's what's written on the sidewall. Ingat lang kasi minsan MAX pressure lang ang nakalagay dun (not operating pressure). Kaya dati naka 50psi ako sa Pajero at MB100 (as per sidewall MAX pressure). Nakupo parang semento ang gulong ko.
As for the thread starter's question, 28psi is a good starting point. Adjust mo na lang depending on your fuel economy, ride, and vehicle load.

May 9th, 2006 11:42 PM #19just follow the specs and adjust tyre pressure at cold temps. I read sa isang tech manual na hindi dapat tumakbo ng more than 4 km yung gulong if you want to adjust cold tyre pressure. Ditoi siguro sa atin na sobrang init baka <<4km.
