Available ang Stavic dito. May Benz rebadge kit pa! Available in RD300 and RD400 grades. May thread ako dito sa forums mga one month ago siguro. Rodius ang local name niya.
Ssangyong is alive once again. Pati sa Europe at Australia buhay na naman ang Ssangyong brand.

I'd still say that pinoy's should still try to do the "copycat" thing. At least we would have a brand of our own. Then slowly advance with the technology like korea and china. Sure, copy lang. But then once we have our own, results will still prevail. People always see the end result, never the process it went through. just my two cents.

Jiangxi Fuqi Automobiles
They produce brand new Nissan Patrol Y60 and Prado.
They use Toyota parts except for the emblem, window glass and tires. The Toyota plant also provides after-market service.
You can change the emblems after buying the car with a real Nissan or Toyota emblem and no one can tell these cars from the original products.

Even if there are 'licensed' copies of vehicles in China, there will always be 'pirated' ones.
The China-made SR-V which shares its styling with the CR-V is not authorized by Honda. The copycat unit even uses a Mitsubishi truck chassis!
Then there are those little econocars with Mercedes Benz C-Class styling.

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
