I've always went for the big rides. Feeling ko pag nasa sedan parang ang sikip.oo nga mabilis, pero san ka naman makakabilis dito sa manila? hehe buti sana kung nasa ibang bansa tayo, at least mahaba haba ang mga runway sa city. hehe I'd like to drive one once in a while but then for everyday driving, my pickup will always reign supreme over me.

sir sikuya, if those vehicles are maid in japan, wala bang tax sa US? bakit ang mumura ng sasakyan dun? o mababa lang ang tax?
unlike in singapore, un simple corolla aabut ng 4M pesos ata or so hehe ndi ko lang alam kung kasama naba ang registration.
before pag sinabing manila, sedan tlaga, but then again sabi nga natin ang pangit na ng daan dito, pwede na mag offroading minsan sa mga lubak. and sir, if comfortable ride hanap, ndi na sa sedan nahahanap un dito sa manila matagtag pa sa matagtag aabutin kasi pag sedan. better off with one of those mid size SUV or kahit mini-ute if d naman kelangan ng malaking space.
OT: i have a question though, sa ibang bansa yung mini ute may diesel variant dba.. or rav lang? y ndi dinadala ng toyota ang diesel variant nya dito? any idea?

i guess age has something to do with it especially with sedan preferences... i'm a thirty something and i'm now drawn to luxury s-class benzes, 5 & 7 series beemers, and xj-series jags as my sedan choices...
but right now, i own two suvs and a 4x4 pick-up and i'm quite happy with them considering the road conditions here in the metro...Last edited by turk182; December 11th, 2003 at 09:23 AM.

December 11th, 2003 09:23 AM #26too many factors on which we choose our vehicle, and factors differ in each of us.
age is one thing, need is another, lifestyle, also WANT.
i started on a sedan, as teener driving fast, making porma.
by early 20s up to now im driving around with a pickup truck
for business, hauling, do-it-all purposes.
with my growing family a SUV (must be 4x4, Diesel) is in the plan.
but i dont mind getting a Sedan, a Silver MB sedan he..he

December 11th, 2003 10:42 AM #28chronophile:In North America, in the recent years, the Toyota Corolla's customers' average age is . . . . . . . . 46 years old!
As a side note...feeling ko kc, bandang year 2000, the car models in general e naging pang-mature..e.g. compare mo ung 1997-2000 Honda Civic, and ung 1997-2000 Corolla with their 2001-2003 iterations; and a bit later on, ung 1997-200something Lancer and ung 2003 Lancer. Parang the style shifted from sporty to, er, sedany, ung parang me aquarium sa gitna B). Cguro sa isip nila, sa hirap ng pera, malamang ung mga dads(and not the sons) who would be buying cars(for the whole family)
...which brings me to my point B). Usually kc ur considerations change as you go along; pag bata, you think for one(you) or two(the object of your affection)...so fast rides, big-ass SUVs...
...once you have a family, you think for three, four,...infinity. you start to think if we get stuck in traffic coming from school, would your kids be comfy enough to sleep, para pagdating ng bahay e they can do homework? Or where to put the cooler, tent, portable generator, etc., when you go out on weekends...
...then, as the kids grow up and start their own families, granting that you do have enough cash, and the "need for speed" and "four-wheel fury" mellows out...you'd start looking at the more comfy rides...syempre, nirarayuma na tuhod, sumasakit likod pag trapik...
Dunno...aint that old yet, so what do i know? Just my 2 cents on the subject B).
