Those rear barn-doors aren't so expensive to fit with wiper/washer, altough it's still easier to do it in a hatch-type rear gate. About diesel engine option, I really don't understand why Ford neglects it. Wouldn't be so hard to fit the 4.5L V6 known as "Baby-Stroke" (since it's based in the late 6.0L V8 PowerStroke) to become more competitive in export markets.

After all, I really don't understand why Ford sells the E-150 in the Philippines instead of the Ford Transit.

It has a wide selection of diesel engines available, from the 2.2L and 3.2L shared with the Ranger to an upgraded version of the Isuzu 4JB1 in some Chinese-assembled versions. Also, for low-roof versions, a rear hatch is available with windscreen wiper/washer.
