August 13th, 2003 06:28 PM #5maingay na wheel? - nope. When you reach bicol, its a breeze -- newly concreted plus asphalt overlay, walang sinabi ang metro manila.

August 13th, 2003 08:33 PM #6Bumper - rear ended with a bus, naalog kaming lahat, but wala man lang dents, maybe because of its design. I have seen a brand new one, a while ago, but noticeable yong new bumper design which I think will not withstand any bumps from a bus. The new design of E-150 bumper was so plain and simple, na parang pang AUV na lang.

Some annoying details:
*No rear wiper/washer (even Kias have this).
*No rear backing mirror.
*Bumpers are chrome steel (almost non-repairable after getting damaged).
*No side protective mouldings.
*Front passenger space is so small. The driver and front passenger are actually sharing space with the front wheelhouses and the engine.
*Ford has not discovered the art of making plastics look good.
*No sliding door option in the local market.
*No diesel engine option in the local market.
Despite these little things, I would still like to have one.

My Tito has one and so far so good, even after three years. He gets around 4-6km/L i think. Its really more of a family weekend/long-trip car since drving and parking it in the mall can sometimes be a hassle given the size. Very comfy and gives good power. I'm just wondering on the maintainance cost/reliability and parts 5 or so years down the road.
Otep, may sliding door option na (also comes with rear captains chairs).
