The BANKS System heavily relies on tweaking fuel/air delivery via electronic piggyback of ECU of OEM and better breathing through large exhaust systems.
This system is particularly optimized in big block diesel engines like cummins, ford etc... Plus, these diesel engines has electronic ECU's which can be tweaked via piggyback ECU's.
CoordSport of the U.K. offers the same system for the Pajero/Shogun/Strada diesel as long as the fuel/air delivery is controlled electronically. Unfortunately for local pajero models, fuel and air delivery systems are mechanically driven.

April 1st, 2004 02:56 PM #2quick question, if you go to a finer filter, does it let more air into the engine? does this mean you have to adjust the fuel delivery to maximize the air being put in?
thanks,

No need to adjust fuel air ratio. Switching from paper filter to foam type filter will just allow more air sucked in freely.
