Yung sinasabi nyong cover sa unang labas ng hylow kits yan, yung D2S bulbs walang cover unless specified kung anong adapter light na kakabitan tsaka lang magkakaroon ng chrome cover sa harap ng bulb. And the cover is not there to remove any glare. It simply acts as a reflector to bounce back the light emitted by the bulb to the H4 housing reflector.
Yung bagong cover ng HID hylow kit hindi na labas pasok ang bulb nya. the bulbe is steady as mounted. Then yung adapter kit nya ang may function sa pag swing out ng wings for bright mode, closed wing for dim mode.

I have yet to try the HID foglight design. Kaso the only problem with those are the PRICES! 70K for a pair of HID foglights. 8O
I'm still hoping that the RMDL240 by Lightforce Halogen type will suffice the light I need.

mdpo::: You might have purchased the spot beam pattern/pencil cut beam or with small diameter housing, kaya po hindi wide yung beam nya.
IPF has made its name same as with Hella products. I have tried a pair of IPF 900 before. I don't like is the housing; too bulky for me and shakes terribly with its heavy metal housing, imo. Also did tried Hella 3000 series and has the same downside with IPFs.
Now, I'm gonna experiment on Lightforce Blitz RMDL240 series. It boasts the widest diameter available on market and reaches 800++ meters. It has plastic resin housing and lenses which would not vibrate vigorously while lighted (as they have claimed).

I did tried them on before mounted on a steel bumper. Even how many times we tried to remedy the shakes can't be eliminated.

aahh gud na u have tried them so which is better or brighter? hid or ipf h4? btw di ba yung hid naman maski di ka nag hi beam malayo naman ang bato ng beam pattern nya diba? u just wont be able to see the signs that is mounted high above siguro. Kung meron ka sana kuha ng hi and lo hehehe para may idea ako =)
Preferred ko parin hid kasi at least di na ako mamomoblema san ko ikakabit =)
