October 25th, 2005 04:38 PM #11ganyan din problema ng kotse ko dati (civic). nung may pinaayos ako, tinanggal ng lokong mekaniko ang foam na humahawak sa mga metal connectors ng door lock (para siguro mas madali ilagay ang door panel) kaya nag-ra-rattle. nung nilagyan ng foam, tahimik na uli.

Um, you usually have to take the door panel off prior to fixing it.
Have someone drive vehicle while you are locating for noise source.
For convenience, better have some foam handy.

I used to have an extra matress dito sa bahay. I just cut little foam blocks and sinisingit ko between the control rods (what actually moves behind the door panels) and the inner door itself.

i notice that it may be the handle itself that may be rattling.
kapag hinawakan ko kasi, wala ng ingay.
sa loob pa rin ba ang source nito?

Try mo adjust yung control rod na naka-connect sa kanya. Baka too much slack.
