Tama nga yung nasa link na sabi ay prone mag clog yung pag short trips at madalang patakbuhin ang car, so possible clog nga ung sa ken kc madalang ko gamitin yung car, short trips pa (12 km a day lang tapos 3 times a week ko lang ginagamit kotse).

Theveed, i have no idea kung ano ung compression test? Ano ba giagawa sa ganung test?, may instrumento ba na kinakabit?

hey bro, no problem. also, yung hose sa intake (or any hose (vacuum hose) sa engine) ay talagang titigas over time, mainly due to heat. also, about the Compression Test. you have to take off all of the Spark Plugs and screw a Compression Tester (or a pressure guage) on each of the Spark Plug hole. pero ginagawa to one by one, and you have to crank the engine at least 5-8 seconds so that you could get an accurate reading.

anywayz, I think you dont need to do a Compression Test since na malakas pa naman ang takbo ng Corolla mo. pag humahatak pa naman and hindi nag mi-miss fire ang makina, then it should be good. but you can still do a Compression Test para lang to make sure and for peace of mind.

aite, peace.
