I have a question regarding tire pressure gauge accuracy.

I'm contemplating to buy a tire pressure gauge and I saw one in Blade Auto Center, its brand is OMP with accuracy of +/-1.
What does +/-1 accuracy mean? Is that accuracy good?

    Many Thanks.
it means that the real value is somewhere within -1 to +1 unit (psi?) of the reading displayed on the gauge.
that is, assuming the gadget is truly accurate, out of the box.
    but that's another question, altogether..

This could also be caused by running a flat tire

Vechicle: Toyota Fortuner 2015 (2" lifted)
    Tyres: Monsta AT 265/70R17
    Wheels: Fuel Vapor 17"

Driver's door sticker is still accurate if similar aspect ratio. Mostly 30 to 32 is safe. Adjust depending on load or terrain na lang.

If you get lower profile tires, that's when you need to increase pressure para mag stiffen sidewall.

i read somewhere, that we can overinflate it by 10% over the recommended psi, as long as we do not go over the tire's maximum psi.
i have been doing it for many years now, and the tires do not seem to complain by showing abnormal tire wear pattern.
n.b. my tires are factory spec.

It's the suspension that will complain ... usually the stabilizer link goes first ...

depende siguro sa kotse, sa nagmamaneho, at saan minamaneho.
my innova has over 140K km on the odometer, and except for the shocks, the suspension is still the one that came with the car, from the factory.
it's a bit noisy now, but still serviceable.

Totoo ba ito? Or baka sa wear and tear lang naman as time goes on kaya nasisira stablizer link.
