Hilander tska crosswind? D ba diesel engines yan d b? I've heard and read na turbochargers work better on these type of engines than gasoline engines.

Well... before taking the plunge into turbo territory, make sure your wallet can take it and do the needed research legwork. Don't go for a cheap set-up as this will cost you more in the long run. Also, there's the issue of brake and suspension upgrades.

As Speedyfix mentioned, expect to shell out around 100k for a good, reliable set-up.

if you are planning to add a turbo to your N/A engine, you will need the ff:

    turbocharger
wastegate (often integrated with the turbo)
    blow off valve
    boost dependent fuel regulator
    turbo manifold
intercooler (sometimes optional but best to have it)
plumbing to connect all parts together

Plan to spend around P60k to P100k depending on the condition of the parts. Example, a 2nd hand turbo & bov with new fuel regulator and custom piping and manifolds can cost a total of P80k inclusive of labor.

for what car? it might be better to just swap in an OEM turbo engine if your car has one.

you need deep pockets,... but seriously It would be better to swap in an oem turbo engine because the internals are already somewhat upgraded. Talk to Fernan of R-fusion if they are still around.
