In addition, ang mga coolant may difference, mga extended life usually sa aluminum radiators, ang mga "older" coolants sa copper, di sila pwede paghalo otherwise namumuo sa metal surface or nagpropromote ng corrosion.

Apparently the new Toyota Coolant (PINK) doesn't adequately protect against solder corrosion on our soldered brass/copper radiators.
What about "Peak" brand coolant, is this compatible with jap cars? I've used both the concentrate and the pre-mixed one in our cars.
yun din una ang binibigay sa akin but i insisted on the RED one... checked my receipt again and it's 198 nga..Originally Posted by Psylocke

newer models pala ng toyota like the previa & innova, doesn't require replacement of coolants until 100K kms! and also the spark plugs, 100K kms din daw ang interval.

eto toyota pink coolant and absolute distilled:

thanks.
oo nga, meron bang pang-flush ng coolant for radiator and engine? paano yung kalawang sa loob ng engine bay?
ang alam ko lang is i-drain na yung radiator, then fill it up with 50/50 ratio ..
dun ba sa reservoir "pure coolant" or "coolant mixed with distilled water" ang dapat ilagay?
But i have lots of friends from cab. san ka ba dun?Originally Posted by Zdre_Wulf

red..green..pink? it matters not...the step to remember when switching from one color to another is this. Thoroughly flush the egine to get rid of the old coolant...that's all there is to it. Proper mixture is im****t. Your vehickle's coolant warning system is set for the proper coolant mixture. With the wrong mixture, your engine could get hot but wouldn't get the overheat warning. The engine could catch fire. Use a 50/50 mixture of clean, drinkable water.
Thank you..![]()
