my cousin recently swap his car with another car, straight lang no involved money..
the deal went on last week, papers were exchanged and as per agreement in paper ..seal is on AS IS WHERE basis.

That day ng mag swap sila, tumawag iyung ibang party, tumirik daw at meron nasira, problem is the starter and the ignition..will cost about 7 to 8 thousand daw.
they wanted to miss the deal and my cousin dont want to, kasi nga nung nasira nasa kanila..
I think my cousin is right. What do you think?

Oo nga pla, my cousin is willing to share the expenses, as goodwill gesture...

need ur opinion, may laban ba kung this will be settled legally

my cousin has got all the docs and agreeement and that it was dealt on AS IS!!!

hmmm as is eh, paano kung sa inyo naman may nasira?

hatian na lang sa presyo. wag din kayo basta basta magbigay ng pera, baka drama din lang.

Sa legal? I think walang habol iyang mga iyan. Plus at that small amount magdedemanda pa sila??? I dont think so

dude tough luck na lang on the other party pero tingin ko drama lang yan. its his responsibility to check the car prior to the swap di ba? hindi naman parang DVD yan na pwedeng ibalik kung malabo. Kotse yang pinagu-usapan dyan and im assuming parehong adults ang nag deal so walang sisihan. "IN GOOD FAITH" nyo binigay yung kotse sa kanila so ganun talaga.

the other party has mellowed down, ngayon, they were just asking what ever we can share sa expenses, they must have realised their chances..

just to add, my cousin found out that there were power features na di gumagana e.g. antenna, side mirror,,sabi ko nga eh tsinek mo naman yan eh..so just accept the consequences...

It's the other party's responsibility to check the car that they're getting. Alam naman nila na AS IS, WHERE IS iyon. Yun lang nga, kung kakilala ninyo yung other party, baka magkasiraan kayo. Better evaluate the situation more carefully. Kung maliit din naman ang amount, damayan niyo na. Pero make it clear na after this, kanya kanya na kayo.
