October 1st, 2006 11:25 PM #1I have a '02 Honda City. Inabot ng flash flood ni Milenyo sa garahe and the interior got soaked. I immediately disconnected the battery cable from the power source when i arrived home then removed all seats and upholstery. When I checked the computer box, 1/3 of it got wet so I disconnected the wirings to let it dry.
Question: safe na ba na i-reconnect ko na ulit at i-try ko mag-start ng oto? what's the best thing to do?

pa check mo na lang sa casa, baka mag short yun computer box mas malaki pa gastos. well, that is kung di pa sya sira now. and you might have water na pumasok sa makina mo, you don't want that to start the car with water in the engine kasi overhaul ang mangyayari nyan. but again kung pinasok na nga ng tubig, kailangan na talaga overhaul.

You can open the case up and air dry it.
