Ok na. Napalitan na ng tensioner at timing belt. My engine has a new lease on life. Di na pinaltan water pump kasi ok pa daw sabi ni Felix ng Speedyfix. Ok nga dun!

Meron pa akong 200kms to go before 100Tkm. Which means I have 200kms to decide engine swap or just retain the stock for a while more. :-)
Mahal din pala labor ng Timing Belt re placement... Buti nalang na pirate ko yung Mechanic sa casa... then sa bahay nya nalang ginawa wala pang 2hrs tapos 1000 lang binayad ko tapos pina inom ko lang.. ayon ang dali ng tawagin pag may papaayos ko hehehehe.. trabahong casa na mura pa labor
Sabi nun casa 100TKm for 4A-FE. Nakuha ko yung tinanggal sa akin at 99934km mukha namang ok pa. Depende din sa gamit at sa kotse, kung ano sabi sa manual...

Most car manuals advise 100,000kms. on timing belt change. Some manufacturers even advise 120,000kms. To be safe, I've seen numerous vehicles change their timing belts at 80,000kms.
aside from timing belt and tensioner bearing, don't you have to replace the camshaft and crankshaft seals? ganyan yung ginawa sa lancer namin dati.
ano pa ba yung usual na sinasabay palitan?
