July 17th, 2016 10:41 PM #3Mine is a 1st Gen Adventure and used to changed coolant every 2 years (average of 20k km per changed) Surprised i was advised by the technician to avoid using coolant and instead to use just distilled water and have a regular monthly flushing daw is enough.

July 24th, 2016 02:40 PM #10Your technician is good. He knows. I use distilled water too (Absolute or Wilkins), and I only flushed every 6 months ( vehicle use everyday), or for a year (if the vehicle is often use). I always look and check water in a radiator, and also other point to be check inside the engine bay before starting the engine.
