    Just had my car tuned up kanina. I told the mechanic na mataas yung idling ko at 1000 RPM at pag binabaan naman namamatay yung engine (pag naka on ang aircon). Nirecommend niya palit na ako cervo kit. Cost is around P19k++ daw ito (for Mitsubish lance GLXi). Puwede daw i clean nila yung cervo (P1,500) pero no guarantee na magiging ok siya afterwards.

    I am asking your opinion regarding this.

    my suggestion is to have it cleaned muna, isabay mo na din linis ng throttle body, then observed if the idle will normalize.

    Kung hindi pa din umayos ang idle suggestion ko po ay ganito:

    Ang pagkaka-alam ko po, kung ang Lancer ninyo ay yung Itlog version (93-96) meron po na parang kit yan na pwede po palitan yung gears lang ng servo.

    Pero kung ang Lancer po ninyo ay yung Pizza Pie version, kailangan po yung buong servo ang papalitan ninyo.

    Kung gusto po ninyo, tawagan at makipag-appoint po kayo kay Ray Sarol (09209252290) para mabigyan po kayo ng mas accurate opinion. Si Ray po ay mechanic friend ko, magaling po yan, sabihin nyo lang ni-refer kayo ni Art.

    By the way, yan po na singil sa inyo na 1500 linis lang, IMHO sobrang mahal po yan, I had mine cleaned by Ray, wala pa sa kalahati nyan ang siningil nya sa akin.

    and ang mahal ng brand new servo kit price nya sayo... you can get 1 for around 9k, brand new sa mga mitsu auto parts shops.

    ownertype pwede mo ring gawing mechanical ang servo mo..sa akin ganon ginawa ng tuner ko...never na ako nag worry sa idling with or without the aircon...swabeng swabe... Php1800 ang damage sa akin...

    this is just one option.. :D

    maselan ba yung conversion to mechanical ng servo? guaranteed ba na solve yung idling problem ko. please explain further how this will work for my lancer. thanks

    artpogi, kay alex of aerohead ko pinagawa. kay emerson kasi affected ang cold start so hindi ko na tinuloy sa kanya...kay alex any time smooth kahit cold start.

    ownertype, instead na electro-mechanical ang servo gagawing mechanical..ang idling mo pareho pa rin...so papatayin ang electrical to your servo..then palitan ng mechanical device..may device pa nga palang ikakabit..i guarantee you solve ang problem ko...hindi na ako nag aalala sa life expectancy ng servo ko..smooth idling with aircon or not...hindi naman maselan gawin ito...mga 2 hours tapos na yan...para ka lang nanood ng sine.. if you want i can refer u sa tuner ko...

    Wow okay ito ownertype... I have this kind of problem sa Makina ko and it really help. I already contact Ray and I might visit him this week to clean my servo.

    Walter - would you know kung pagkano yung servo kit para sa DOHC na makina? ECI palit makina kasi ako eh pang galant type

    aerohead is in 9th avenue, grace park, kalookan city... 3232171 look for alex...if ever na makausap mo or pagawa ka, tell him na friend mo si lloyd na may lancer para alam niyang may kilala kang nagpapagawa rin.

    i had my servo replaced by Raymond recently. Pinabili nya ako ng surplus servo sa Cinco, tyempo naman na sariwa pa yung servo na nakuha ko. Binuksan nya kasi yung servo at nilinis muna. Converted din yung sa akin dati, may idle up actuator. Raymond said that these kind of conversions are not good. 2,500 lang yung servo. Sandali lang ginawa and then my car is running like new again.

    i had the same problem sa glxi 94 ko. sa casa ko na dinala kse kailangan din mamonitor using MUT II nila. P675 lng nmn ang binayaran ko including throttle body cleaning ang lubrication ng servo. ipaayos mo na habang maaga...

    I had the same problem yesterday. so tinaasan ang idling ko hanggang 1k. tapos kapag aricon eh bagsak ang idling ko ti 300. paguwi ko ni-reset ko ang box by disconnecting the positive terminal sa battery after that ok na sya.

    ano kaya ito?
