honestly, for me gingoyo ka nung pinagtanungan mong yon....
3.)ung pipe leaks mostly due to high pressure or too much bending of the pipes.
4.)evaporator only leaks kung nilinis gamit ay ung LYE, pero di masyadong binanlawan..ung natirang LYE will react on the water that the evaporator will produce and in turn mabababad sa evaporator which will eat out the evaporator's soft aluminum structure.
5.)baka due for replacement na ung expansion valve and "reciever-dryer", kasi in due time, nagbabara din ito because of dirt na nakapasok sa open pipes while servicing the aircon-system.ang masama nito, kapag pinabayaan mo, maaring cause ng pag-babara ng pipes which will make the compressor work much more that it need..

mahal aircon parts, in your case baka leaks lng sa tubes. they can always test the lines naman. kng thermostat daw ang problem then minor lng yan. it jst controls the temperature in the car. hindi nare-repair ang thermo, replace na talaga. pinakamahal parts ng aircon ang evaporator, condenser at compressor. evrything else medyo mura na.

umzzzzz: thermostat ng engine yun, same function with the aircon system's thermostat, regulate ng temperature
