yup, early 2004 pa kasi nabili yung box sa left side. late 2004 nabili yung sa right. dati nasa ilalim ng front passenger seat tapos ini-stock ko lang sa store room kaya siguro ganyan itsura.

Unless you are absolutely sure that the glass part of the bulb was never touched most likely the bulbs were mishandled, possibly leaving some oils from someones fingers on the glass part which led to their premature failure.
please look at the pics. walang fingerprints doon sa glass part. kaya nagtataka ako kung bakit napundi yung low beam.

when you upgrade bulbs, doesn't it follow that you have to at least add relays?
unless your stock headlight bulbs were 100/80 watts, you might benefit installing relays.

I have had my car's headlight bulbs upgraded to 100/80watts with bosch relays. No problems encountered (yet).
gaano katagal na yung bulb mo? 60/55W ang stock ko. sabi kasi ng friend ko, hindi na raw kailangan ng relay. tapos nung nagpalit ako recently ng bulb, tinanong ko yung nagkabit kung bakit kaya nasira, tinignan niya yung stock wires, sabi niya makapal naman so malamang daw sa bulb talaga.

ano nga kaya? kailangan ba talaga ng relay kung nag upgrade ako sa 100/80W?
