Noisy Wipers

ung wipers ng innova ko medyo maingay pag nag-ooperate, meron syang parang scrapping sound. I replaced the stock wiper blades ng banana type wipers pero maingay pa rin. ano kaya ang problem at pano ko maaalis ung ingay. thanks.

ilang taon na sir yung innova? pa polish nyo yung windshield..

kung yun mga cheap generic wipers pinalit mo, talagang ganyan, you should have replace it with Bosch or other branded wipers...assuming hinde sa windshield problema ha

I experienced the same recently...Changed my wipers pero maingay parin...clean my windshield with kerosene and rubbing compound pero ganun parin...finally after close inspection, (pinaandar ko wiper na nasa labas ako) hindi pala sa wiper mismo galing yung ingay, sa wiper brackets connected sa wiper motor under the hood/windshield area...after cleaning using WD40 and lubrication using oil...okay na sya ulit...Parang walang nagyari!

Seven years na sir ung innova, mukhang kailangan nga ipolish ung windshield-marami na water marks. any idea kung magkano pa-polish?

Yes sir...sa brackets na naghohold from the wiper motor to the wiper arms below the windshield under the hood...

Try to lift both wipers and turn it on, pag maingay pa rin, then hindi wiper blades and windshield ang problem. It could be the pivot joint of the wiper linkage that needs an overhaul

Kasi napansin ko minsan pag sobrang lakas ng ulan ay nawawala na yung ingay den bigla na lang babalik after a few days.

That is the problem when you put water-repelling agents on your windshield (eg Rain-X, etc). It will make your wipers jump...

Kasi napansin ko minsan pag sobrang lakas ng ulan ay nawawala na yung ingay den bigla na lang babalik after a few days.

Kapag nawala ang ingay when you lift your wipers, it can be two things; wiper blade or windshield has a lot of grime. It is easy naman to clean the windshield well, so you may do it step by step to avoid a big damage on your pocket. HTH
