Ngayon my car is already ok, parang walang ngyari di mo malalaman na nalubog sa baha. Hahaha.

    throttle body P19,917
    EPS unit P32,431
    meter assy P22,873
    Radiator fan motor P11,094
    condenser fan motor P4,818
    switch assy of aircon P483
    fuse box P19,500
    idle brg. P370
    labor P18,216

I also got my car yesterday from Honda Dasma. They did a good job cleaning up the interior. There is no untoward smell and it looks really looks clean. Even my 3M mat was super clean. All electricals are working. And engine hum well sounds like it did before it went in for fixing.

I think Honda Dasma did a good job fixing my car. I paid 3,200 for my participation.

The only things that were quite different are the door lock button seems to be a bit harder to push but it works, the overhead light is not as bright as it was since the casing is a bit hazy now,and putting the stick to D, R, N etc is not as smooth as before. That is being nitpicky considering the scenario.

I only have two complaints. One is that their technician thought i should have all the replaced parts so they put the old battery, throttle body, etc in the trunk. They then took it out because insurance was paying for my bill and when they took it out, something leaked and melted the cardboard in the trunk.

My other complaint is that they lost my seatcover.

However they will replace those two. I drove at SLEX and did not notice anything else different. Feels good to have my car back!

after more than 6 mos and 230k pesos (c/o our insurer) worth of replacements and repairs, we finally got our 03 vios A/T back two weeks ago from Toyota Pasong Tamo. so far so good. no major problems. we're satisfied bec. overall, the car is in a better condition than before it was brought in.

let's just hope it holds up for the next couple of years.
