Ngayon even after filling it up, the water doesn't shoot out to the windshield. Instead it just flows into the hood.

Ang tanong, nagbara kaya ang hose dahil nahigop ang dumi? I would think hindi yata kasi mas-mataas naman ng konti yung butas para sa hose kaysa dun sa bottom of the reservoir.

What else could be the problem? I've tried pressing the control a few times successively. I thought maybe that the water just hasn't reached the end.

Kung nagbara man, can this be "DIYed"?

    TIA.

I think I need a longer implement, or I have to take out the nozzles and clean them. Is this an easy task? Madali bang ibalik yung hose pag tinanggal?

Palitan ko na kaya nung may ilaw. Hehehe joke.

Disconnect mo na lang yung water hose. Kapag napush back mo na yung gunk, try blowing into the nozzle.

    Thanks

Teka, check mo lang yung clear hose from the washer to the nozzle, baka may naipit lang, if you operate the washer na nakabukas yung hood, malabas ba tubig? If so, may naipit lang na hose.

Ang problema only part of the hose is clear. Madumi na yata. Kelangang ipa-detail sa Big Bert's. Hehehe.

I tried with the hood open and it's still the same. So it's either the nozzle or the hose part between the container and the hood hinge. Anyway I have the nozzles here with me and I'm cleaning them just the same.

Regarding the "pump", don't know if it's called a pump pero may parang canister na may marking na "DENSO" katabi mismo ng washer fluid container.

what about leaks in the windshield washer tank? i have a pretty bad leak (all the water gets consumed overnight) but the tank is hidden, can't get at it.

I think I need a compressor to blow the dirt out. But I don't have one now. Try ko muna if baby oil or alcohol can carry the dirt out.

    Hi Clif,

You can remove the hoses, just be careful if its an old car. Please see my post below, maybe we had a similar problem.

Thanks. Luckily the hoses weren't as brittle as I thought it would be. (Unlike the ones used for say LPG gas tanks.)

So I was able to easily remove them and put them back on. Today the left nozzle is ok. The right though, still only pushes water out to the lowest part of the windshield with very little pressure even after several pokes with a pin. I will take care of this this weekend with the compressor thing.

    Thanks for your help!

orly_andico, are you sure it's the tank and not the hose? If you can't get at it I suggest you look at it when you have an underwash at the gas station where it will be lifted. There's probably a good epoxy appropriate for water and can withstand the heat from the engine. I'd replace it with a surplus if I can find one.

silhouette, looks like it's an electrical problem if you recently changed alternators.

You can re-align the nozzle spray by using the needle and aim it correctly. This takes time and patience.

    Update:

Had the nozzles taken out again and blown with compressed air sa gas station. Ayos na! Lakas!

And yup, kailangan nang iadjust pababa with a needle kasi mataas na yung tubig.

    Thanks a lot guys!
