try to PM Mamar. Sya nagpareprog dun. =D

Anyways, a relative allowed me to test drive my Optra on his oval race track (mga 10kms. away sa controversial mega-mansion ni L.L.) for a top run. I was able to hit a stable 180km/hr and reached up to 200km/hr max(yup, it's not ECU limited to 180, pero pagdating ng 180 medyo mabagal na ang pagincrease ng speed, protection siguro to avoid hitting the red zone).

Results ng fuel consumption is roughly 12km/liter. Which I think is good considering na from 5.5K-6K naglalaro RPM ko.

Ano nangyari sa iba pang nakaoptras? La bang results jan?

Test drove the Optra Wagon last week, ok sya hehe, I like the interior better than the sedan, the financing is tempting, buti nalang wala pa sa budget hehe.

thanks. talked to GM pasig na. talked to Chris ba yung name?
Down this week yung computer reprogramming. baka daw next week maayos na. so next week ko na dadalhin yung Optra.
Eh A/T yung Optra ko!

After nun di na ko biglaang namamatayan on parking.

Carb Choke yung nakasulat sa job service. thanks batang raon. i was also able to have the reprogrammed ECU. I will update you guys on fuel consumption in a few weeks time once i calculate it. According to them maganda na daw yung nakukuha kong fuel consumption. compared daw to yung ibang Optra owners but i still had them reprogrammed my ECU hoping na mas lalo pa gumanda yung kanyang fuel economy.

Anyways, gone to casa nga for PMS.

Noticed one thing, hindi tumulin hatak compared nung nilinis before.
I wonder if they reprogrammed the tranny's shifting points, or ecu's A/F mixture or the timing settings... But dapat may kaibahan sa pagtakbo with any adjustment sa ECU diba?
    Plus, summaries:

Still haven't. Di ko lam e-mail and medyo la talaga oras esp.bukas. Whole day practice detailing kasi ako chief. Hehe... =D Hope someone would though, have done my own efforts na, placed leaflets on Optra owners wipers at the church where I normally attend mass. Some of them texted my number and I gave the info they need, and they all gave their thanks. =D Though it would be nice if someone would tell these mags though. =D

this could be a good hint to check 2nd hand market for an optra.
True, I saw a for sale 2nd hand optra on an ad selling for just 350K na 1 year pa lang. Checked pero sold na raw. 1 year and 2 months old pa lang ung vehicle, 18K lang mileage. Plain reason for selling nya is fuel consumption. Balak ko sana sabihin sa kanya about the reprogram kasi baka ako pa sisihin kung ba't sya nanghihinayang at binenta nya ng ganun kamura.

Not really sir. The labor done on our free PMS will be charged to the company (Chevrolet) by that casa. Pakikorek na lang po kung mali ito. But that's what my sales adviser told me before.

Confirmed, Permanent po ito sir. =)

If you requested for Maam Gi (ata) of Service Dept. on GM Makati, she knows, and like I said, accdg. to her, for evaluation-basis sila and appointment-based pa. Hassle. Better to go the extra mile. Why?

    lastly....

Now I'm not against bragging your products, believe me I love my car but... these are just the reasons why people tend to believe in things that they shouldn't. Jeez... BE REAL Mr. Salesman. Sell with your conscience.

    update lang.
I don't seem to find any change in my fuel consumption after the reprogramming. I was told by chevy that i am already getting better than average fuel economy in my Optra. I actually am getting worst consumption but it may be due to the increase in gas prices.
i rarely use the optra right now and prefer using the previous gen camry which does consume more than the Optra but by only by .5km/L.

A little opinion for the Optra's behemoth gas comsumption
