Sir, I believe it is permanent. I haven't had issues of my ECU needing reprogram after I disconnected my batteries for 5 times already due to replacement of one of my headlight bulbs and when I dropped something below the battery. Hehe..The last time was after I reprogrammed.
Although, asking the SA's via phone won't hurt. =D

anu kailangan k gwin pra mkapag pareprogram ng ecu sa gm noth edsa, kakausapin ko lng po ba ung jet at sabihin skanya ung problem ko sa gas consumption ng optra ko?! ksi my optra is just doing around 3-4 km/l lng eh wla pang birit ung ha city driving lng po un!

yehey im finally getting ecu re-programmed tommorow at chevy pasig not in north edsa! i allready talked to them today and asked if they do re-program optras ecu and they scheduled me tommorow!
