The spark plug gaps vary from engine to engine... you can check your owners manual for that.
The Nissan Cefiro VQ engine only needs changing at 100,000km per the manual (it uses NGK platinum plugs).

September 30th, 2005 10:54 PM #15yung sa ceramic diba nagingitim din yun kahit papano? or a shade of brownish-gray. thats what i was asking. how to remove the carbon deposit. when the spark plug is new, puti yun. pero habang ginagamit, nangingitim din yun. kapag sobra naman daw ang lean ng mixture, nagiging puti pa din yun kahit ginagamit. when you clean the plugs nagagawa bang puting-puti ang ceramic dun?

October 3rd, 2005 10:51 PM #16don't think you should follow those suggested intervals. look at the difference in driving between the countries (philippines is all traffic while in europe you have long expanses of road)
that makes all of the difference.

kapag tama po ang air/fuel mixture natin, di na po kailangan pang linisin ang sparkplugs. kusa na po ito naglilinis sa sarili.
kaya dapat pong nasa optimal setting parati ang air/fuel mixture natin.
