i experienced the same thing w/ my previous Jazz. i use my shoe, rubber soles to close the door.
hindi kaya lakas talaga static sa katawan mo? dati ganun din ako konting hawak sa anything metallic may spark pero after a period of time nawala na...kakaasar nga e kahit tao hawakan ko may kuryente![]()
aah its good to know other people are having the same problems
kala ko ako lang, pinapahawak ko nana family ko sa jazz kaso they dont feel a thing.. baka my power ka J97 .. lahat hinahawakan mo may kuryente :superhero:
thanks for the reply![]()
Check for grounds. Did you change or upgrade your sound system? they might have made a ground somewhere in the car. Grounded car would sometimes easily get a low battery level.
Experiencing the same static problem with my Jazz. All the while, I thought it was just me. Defect kaya ito ng mga Jazz?
try nyo yung mga inuupuan nyo. kapag me hibla hibla (parang carpet) kasi dun nagsstart yung static nyo kapag nagkakaron kayo ng contact.
Malakas din static ko sa Sentra ko. Posted it sa kotse.com before, kasi it always gave me a hard jolt, tipong tumatalsik talaga kamay ko evrytime I close the door.
Forumers there told me that one of the common culprits is the floormat, kasi ma-fiber yung sa akin. When I changed it, nabawasan nga, pero meron pa rin.
specially when you wear a hard soled shoes and the weather is dry and also malikot ka sa pagmamaneho mo ng kotse, ingat ka sa paglabas mo ng kotse mo ,sigurado may kuryente ka na kaya ingat ka sa paghawak ng door ng car mo,electronics and most of all at the gas station.
Static build up is on your body.
Are you experiencing it when you're coming out of the car? If that's the case, then the A/C could be running down the humidity inside very low which can cause static build up.... (Never experienced it with my baby Jazz, though).... Just curious, are you using air de-ionizer?
If you're experiencing it when you're getting in the car, then, that is something else, if you're here in the Philippines.....
2801:clap:
Besides the carpet, check the tires. Many new tires have a high silicone content, which also rpomotes that static "sting" you get when you touch the door after getting out.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
haven't changed anything or added anything to the car except the air freshenerfirst time i got out of the car,dun ko na feel yung static.. ayaw yata ng jazz ko sa kin.. hehe :puyat::munch: ibang passengers walang na fe-feel.. friction rub!:hihihi:
In summary:
Use rubber shoes, gloves would be more convinient.
Change floor matting
Wag malikot
Silicone on tires (age should diminish this)
Change air freahener :D
