September 15th, 2005 12:51 AM #11sayang sana hindi ka muna sana bumili ng ecu....i have a gut feel...it's the fuel system.
I believe that the fuel from the tank is not supplying fuel properly sa engine. I believe you have to check if the tank have been contaminated with water - drain the tank, purge the fuel line with air, replace the fuel filter and finally test the pump if the pressure and amount of fuel that it pumps is still correct (as per specs of an ESI).
Kung dumaan ka sa baha, it is possible water sipped in and damaged the fuel delivery system somehow.
that's my best guess.

September 15th, 2005 01:03 AM #12It could be the fuel filter... while filling up for gas the sediments might mix with the gas going to the engine...
Di naman cguro alternator otherwise umilaw na yung light sa dashboard for the battery/charging system.
I dont think it was necessary to replace the ECU or the other parts mentioned. But thats just me.

based on my experience, Best Guess is, fuel line or defective yung ignition coil mo. pa check mo na rin. IMHO lang po

September 15th, 2005 12:08 PM #17agree ako kay wildthing. in my case i have to replace the fuel filter lang. if the filter is dirty and the demand for fuel is high {high speed} the dirt will clog the filter and cut the fuel supply. pag patay na ang makina matatanggal uli ang bara kasi wala ng suction ang fuel pump that is why after some rest it will start again. this is just my experience.
