ALbert: Caps don't stabilize current, it merely stores current in an event of sudden voltage consumption (usually when an amp plays a deep bass note).
Think of it as a water tank.

di po ba same lang 'yon? Kung fluctuating yung voltage mo, meaning po may drops and peaks sa voltage level, the caps will level that off for you by supplying the needed juice back into (or getting from) the electrical? Originally Posted by theveed
pero tama po kayo, it won't stabilize the current ... just the voltage lang po.
no its not.
under regular load even if you have an audio system you do not need a cap. You only need a cap for transient loads. the cap is hooked between a battery and amp, it doesn't affect any other electrical equipment other than what is hooked up to the cap.
grounding kits simply allows less resistance for the current to flow due to thicker gauges.

Your alternator should do that. Unless it's shot, you shouldn't have to worry about it.
Jeep: Amp wires can be anywhere between 0 gauge to 12 gauge, also, be wary of wires na gawa dito or china, the insulation may be very thick, but the actual copper wire is very thin.
Power Cable/Wires available in Raon are gauge 8. Deeco is selling gauge 12 speaker wires, these babies are thick * 70/meter medyo pricey.
tnx
8 gauge will do, 4 gauge will be better.
hehe :DOriginally Posted by theveed
1) Negative batt terminal to chassis, 2) Negative batt terminal to distributor, 3) Distributor to intake manifold, 4) Intake Manifold to alternator, and, 5) Alternator to chassis.

Originally Posted by Jeepcruizerph

meron akong nakitang grounding kit sa automotive section ng hardware sa landmark level 3. post ko dito yung pix. cost around 750pesos. dunno what gauge is the wire is though.
i saw it too. mukhang ok e. pero sir speedy, pa PM din ako ng price nung grounding kits mo. thanks!Originally Posted by zechs

po ang grounding kits?
ano po ang noticeable effects
ng meron nito?
magkano po ito?
meron po bang sasakyan
na binabagayan nito?
thanks in advance?
its noticeable sa electrical flow ng auto mo. masmagandasmooth kung baga but most of all pampaganda ng engine compartment. RED WIRES are grounding kit

habang nakaandar at naka on ang head lights..den pagka on ko ng aircon medyo nag didim ng konti yung head lights ko..epekto po ba yun ng poor grunding?
